Great price, great food. The homemade flour tortillas practically melt in your mouth.I'll be honest, I haven't tried a lot of their menu but that's because I am HOOKED on the breakfast "suicide" tacos. These suicide tacos are AMAZING!!!!Definitely a MUST.
This place is just like I remember. The staff is very welcoming and super friendly. I ordered the suicide but despite its name, it's a must-have when you come to Hi-Ho restaurant. The taco is packed with a little bit of everything, including carne guisada egg and cheese. Even if you don't live on that side of town, it's worth the drive. The tortillas are soft and fluffy fluffy. Be careful. They are very addicting. ?
I ordered the beef tacos and the food was so bland. The cooks did not add any type of seasoning to the food. The ground beef tasted like they cooked in water. The only thing that was good was the homemade tortilla and costumer service. I was looking forward to this place but, was totally let down. Instead of Hi-Ho more like High hopes.
Great staff and good food
Food was good waitresses were friendly clean bathroom
We were visiting from Iowa and HAD to eat at Hi Ho as we have heard great things about it and it was Selena’s favorite restaurant (we did all things Selena!) The food was amazing and everything we expected! The staff was superb and friendly, we spoke to one of the the owners Ben, very friendly and informative. I highly recommend the Chicharrone with egg taquito (taco) it was delicious! We also liked the Carne Guisada, Chorizo con huevos (both the plate and the taco). They also make homemade tortillas (they were just like my grandmas, very good) you definitely feel like your family and very welcomed. We will for sure be back the next time we are in Corpus Christi!
This place is very iconoc for the Hispanic community as its known for Selena Quintanilla's favorite place to eat. It's usually recommended by Selena's museum and it's really delicious here. Fast service, fresh food, and great vibes! The food is very authentic as well.
Great service, awesome food just like the good ole days.Everytime I'm in Corpus I go eat there..
I've been going here since I was a little girl, lately I have been coming in on my lunch hour. I ordered the chicken caldo because I am on a mostly liquid diet and the chicken caldo is all I can have on their menu. I only have an hour for my break and the owner told our waitress to give the chicken caldo to another gentleman who came in after us instead of giving it to me. I had already been waiting 35 minutes when the waitress told me I had to reorder causing me to be late back from my lunch hour and also causing me to have to break my diet. Very unprofessional and wrong. This restaurant has gone down hill over the hears. I also could smell the bathroom from my table and it was disgusting.
It was good, haven't had bad food or service, letty was a very good waitress, there is a couple of guys that just walk around all the time they could jump in and help the wait staff every now and then.
