So happy I stumbled into this restaurant! The portions are super generous and every plate Ive tried so far has been amazing! The sauces they cook with aren’t tasteless/bland like hunan express and they use a large assortment of veggies, not just bamboo shoots and corns like most places. The people working the drive through are always super friendly and quick, the food comes out fresh And delicious every time
I've been hearing that they switched ownership so before they switched owners the egg drop soup the egg rolls and the combination fried rice was really really good. after they close and then reopened for a while the egg rolls are pretty good still I haven't tried the egg drop soup yet and the combination fried rice my nephew says is disgusting but I need to try it myself. I am hoping it is good. The sauce is still taste the same sriracha sweet and sour, hot oil sauce, sweet and sour and the hot must house mustard.
Nasty sweet and sour chicken was undercooked. Rice over cooked. Husbands #22 Jalapeno Chicken and shrimp tasted boiled .
This was the first time eating here since new owners took over. Let me just say yuk!! I ordered chicken fried rice and it had chunks of dark meat chicken that still had fat on it. I also ended up eating a few pieces of plain fat. When I realized what it was I pulled it out and it was just a chopped piece of fat. Dark meat is fine when cleaned of veins and connective tissue/fat, but I did not pay a premium price for bottom of the bucket food. I use to love their food there, but not now. Won’t go back…to afraid to try anything else.
First time we ate at the restaurant. Used drive thru years ago. Decided to return but eat inside. Our experience was perfect. Humble little place. Comfortable atmosphere. Felt as if we were visiting friends and eating in their dining area. Food delicious. Perfect temperature. Not crowded. 2 other busy tables besides ours. Waiters were nice and helped us put together exactly what we wanted. Prices fair. Large portions. Took home enough for another meal. Authentic Chinese food and flavor. Love this little place. Will be our go to for Chinese for now on.
Ordered the large combination rice and was given a small container. When I asked them about it they said “that’s how they’re doing it now” so they’re charging same price for less than half the portion. Won’t be going back
Chicken fried rice was all dark meat with fat hanging on it. My husband got the shrimp fried rice. The shrimp was over cooked and rubbery. Nothing like it use to be. Won’t go back…
So glad this neighborhood restaurant is open once again. My favorite go to Chinese food place, and so close to my house. I'll continue to be a loyal customer!
This place holds a certain nostalgia that makes it so special.The owner is new, but is working along side the staff and paying special attention to every customer, taking out orders and checking in on tables.The food has always been good here, and though the menu has changed and a second, more adventurous section has been added, the charm and flavor still exist.My Husband's family has been eating here since he was a kid ( he is 39). It became one of our favorites as a couple, and now all of our children enjoy as well!
The food was amazing, me and my wife stopped in after fishing and were pleasantly surprised, food was cooked the way we liked it, and was plentiful. The waited was quick to address everything down to refills, and suggestions. Was very fast , and also quite courteous to me and my wife. He definitely deserve a raise. That pink lemonade was hella good too!! Definitely 5 stars!!
