I only ever order through the app for pickup. My sandwich is always ready when I get there.Sometimes my order is wrong. I request no bacon and no pickle, but sometimes they still include them. I know it’s out of habit, and it’s better than me requesting something and them not including it.
My partner recommended this place because of a delicious experience via brisket sandwich from his recent past but as we entered the place, the employee who approached us was almost void of emotion and animation to the point we had to ask her to blink to make sure we all understood one another. No rush or urgency towards service, the two staff members had us waiting for over 25 mins for three sandwiches. The food was good but left me appreciating more so the simplicity in their conveyor belt methods from subway. As we left with our bag of food, it dripped out the bottom with bbq sauce and required us to reassemble and clean up their lack of awareness. I will and have found better service and product elsewhere, thank you but no thank you.
I enjoy going here because the service is always very friendly and the food is predictable. Our orders have always been made correctly so far, though it's slower to receive the sandwich compared to some other restaurants. I enjoy the sandwiches, though my personal opinion is that they are not very flavorful. I always ask for sriracha to add myself so that it has a flavor. Regardless, I would recommend it (most people don't like food overseasoned like I do anyway).
I recently made an online order and didn't pay attention that after 8,30 pm it will schedule the order for pickup the following day. Upon noticing I messed up I went to the restaurant and told the manager of my mistake and he assured me the online order wouldn't be completed and made my same order promptly and the sub was delicious as always at this location. I called the next morning and talked to the same manager (wish I could remember his name but he was so nice and professional, something very few businesses practice these days) he again assured me that my online order wouldn't be completed and gave me information on how to get refunded for my online order. I was promptly contacted by Vicki the owner to arrange my refund. I opted to just have order made the next time I was in Corpus which I recently did as I want to give this store as much of my business as possible. I've been so disappointed with the service of so many restaurants lately that I've almost give up on eating out and glad there is still a place that believes in quality and customer service. I live about 40 miles from this location and will continue to drive over when I'm hungry for a well made sub. My hats off to the owner, manager and crew of this Saratoga FH sub location.
Ordered the Hook and Latter long sub. Sub was good but did not have ham on it.
First time eating at a firehouse subs, and glad we came and tried it. It was delicious and did not disappoint. Friendly staff! Ordered the Pairs Group Club on Sub.
I didn't receive a side pickle nor my requested sauces on a prior order. I left feedback for the restaurant. The manager, April called me the next day and apologized. She said she would make sure her employees were reminded of their proper duties. She also offered me a free sandwich on my next visit. That is customer service! My sub was also delicious. :)
So the food I’ll give the 5 stars but the customer service is complete trash I called before I went in and the person that was answering was extremely rude when I asked to speak to the manager he hung up on me! I never really write bad reviews but this needs to be addressed!
Great sandwiches!! My wife and I stop here when we shop at that end of town.
This is the worst place I’ve ever experienced! Second time they messed up our sandwiches first time we received someone else’s order . Second time didn’t even get the meat ! Called complained asked for sandwich to be remade before got there still took forever , it was still wrong ! Ordered the club no bacon no cheese .. teach those ladies how to read the sandwich chart ! Spent our whole lunch dealing with this ..
