Had a beer and some tater tots there before boarding my flight, and my bartender/server Dion was super friendly and professional!
Literally the best cheeseburger sliders I’ve ever had. I dream of them sometimes, and I think one day I might take a trip down to Corpus Christi just for another taste. I gave my father one bite and still regret it.
I got nachos for $12. it was just so bad and super overpriced. i mean look at the pictures.my family got a veggie burger which was served on texas toast. because toast is bigger than a patty only half of the sandwich actually had patty. fries were soggier than mcdonald’s.i think the only reason the restaurant is still here is because its the only one in the airport haha.the server was nice but would be better if they wore their mask over their nose
Only one server and one bar tender. Very bad service, the food is gross.. pay over $11for nachos and the cheese tastes and looks just like 7-eleven cheese served with no sour cream and no pico. The quesadilla is super greasy, you can see the oil on the plate… if you go to this place just stick to the drinks and bar only. I didn’t try any but they may be good.
Three employees sitting at 9am… and they are closed. If you are not going to open change your hours. We would have eaten before the airport!
Good food and drinks
Already off to a poor start.. 8:30AM just about and it says they open at 8AM .. Dont waste your time with the food is the common review popping up so I wont but would like to order a drink which seems to be the only thing they get right minus the service of course will change my review if they open before 9...
About what you'd expect for airport food but it was OK staff was friendly
We had a noon flight out of the Corpus Christi airport and a tight connection in Houston, so we knew we needed to eat lunch right before out flight. Coastal Bend Bar & Grill was located right next to our gate, so we decided to give it a try. I ordered their Cajun Grilled Chicken Sandwich, and my wife ordered a spinach salad (can't remember its name) with chicken and blue cheese crumbles. Both of us thought our meals were very good - something you don't often get with an airport restaurant. Our server was friendly and attentive. It's not fine dining, but it is a fine place for a quick lunch!
