Excellent ambience, food and service. If you are visiting corpus Christi with vegetarians in the crowd and wanna hit some known confident Mexican food, this one is a guaranteed experience..The fajita sizzler is a must have and there is a lot of tasty food in this dish. Chicken was nice and tender, cut into easily chewable slices. Vegetarian enchilada, burrito (veg kid size), chicken tortilla soup were all tasting real nice and fresh.. appetizer nacho was different but again tasted excellent.. you won't regret ordering both tres leches cake and churros bites as dessert. Ambience is awesome with palm tree models in the middle of the restaurant.. everything looked extremely clean and well maintained.. service was superb and our waitress was smart, had lot of patience to explain the dishes and helped us to order right.
Excellent service and food!!
My wife and I visited from out of town looking for a good Tex-Mex meal....and we left quite disappointed. Before someone says "You don't know what Tex-Mex is"... we're both Mexican and live in the RGV...we eat it basically every day.The place itself feels a little cluttered...I understand it's supposed to give it a certain feel to the place, provide an ambience to it. But what does Elvis have to do with Tex-Mex? Maybe I missed that bit of history....maybe Elvis was a big Tex-Mex fan? I don't know. The service was lacking...the place was slightly crowded. The waiter did come by and ask for our order...we asked for about 5 more minutes which turned out to be closer to 15 mins later.Surprisingly...the menu felt very small. They had plenty of alcoholic options...but the entrees basically centered on burritos, enchiladas, and the fajitas. There's plenty of Tex-Mex options outside of wrapping food up in a tortilla and doing a deep fry on it (Chiles rellenos, fajita tampiquena, etc).So anyways....my wife ordered the beef/chicken fajitas and I ordered the Chuychanga. Her plate was good...the meat was nicely cooked...no real issues there. They were definitely lacking on salsa..we wanted something with heat.My Chuychanga was not appealing....I was expecting it maybe to be drenched with the sauce and sour cream...as opposed to looking like a giant burrito from the local Circle K placed on some sauce. Was there even sauce? You can't even see it in the pic....So if we're looking for good Tex-Mex....I think we'll stick to my wife's kitchen next time
I came across Mrs Anita when she appeared as a guest on a Forex Podcast in USA. I was listening to and was very impressed with her straight forward approach and the principles of her trading strategy. My heart then told me to invest $3000 with her company as a trial. I was able to withdraw a profit of $45,000 after 7 days. Mrs Anita Crypto FX. make this possible, do well and reach out to her for a secure investment too. Yummy food, nice people! Easy location to navigate.
This place is amazing the food is great and ask for Yvette Marie you won't find a better waitress
We went to chuy’s hoping to sit on the patio since it was such a nice day out! Was told by the hostess that the patio server didn’t get there til 4 :30. When we asked if someone else could wait on us, she said no. I was just confused because there were uncleaned tables on the patio indicating someone just had sat there.
Chuy's never disappoints. Always good food at affordable prices. And the service here was phenomenal. Thank you to Yevette Marie for making our meal and time such a wonderful experience!!
WOW!!! Best Tex mex place I’ve been in Texas!!I’ve been traveling here In Texas since July 2020 and have eaten many places… this here Chuys is the best!Fast courteous service! Phenomenal food and big portions! Fun environment! It’s a must every week for me. I’ve been twice and experience was the same both times. This place is a must if you’re in Corpus Christi.
Good food. Hatch green chili sauce was hot but tasty! Salsa was fantastic ... except finding a piece of cardboard in the bowl. Oooops! 5 star other than that.
