I love the Carne guisada tacos from here and I pick them up whenever I can as I live pretty far from the restaurant now. The service is always courteous and the food is great! The drive thru can take a while, especially on a busy day. They have the best Carne guisada in Corpus I highly recommend trying it!
I stopped here with my son and niece and a trip to Corpus Christi. The service was excellent and the food was amazing!! I had breakfast tacos with potatoes rancheros and the tortillas were just so fluffy and soft

GREAT tortillas....big, soft and yummy!! Highly recommended these guys. Barbacoa was perfect...not too greasy and cooked perfectly. Carne guisada delicious.

I grew up in San Antonio (I am 73) eating puffy tacos. I can still get them in San Antonio many places and I do every chance I get. But I have been living in Corpus Christi for 25 years and have searched all over for them. Some have told me of a place and I go only to find they are a puffed up shell with a hole punched in the middle full of taco salad like a taco salad bowl. Chacho's has REAL puffy tacos. But what really excited me is that they are seasoned to taste exactly like my favorite, long gone, best tasting puffy taco restaurant in San Antonio! Wow! I will be back, a lot. Only wish it wasn't clear across town.
My first time ordering chalupas, great experience. Even though the lady was on the phone, she was attentive to my order. Ask what kind of hot sauce I wanted and willing to explain the difference. I will return to try something else on the menu.
Love to go there every time we go to Corpus. The food is super delicious, the prices are fair, n the staff are friendly polite and very helpful. A very good family type setting highly recommended to one and all
