Food is delicious! There was a 30 min wait but we grabbed some beers at the bar. Not a very large restaurant. Server AK was awesome she was very attentive. Oysters were so fresh and tasty. Red drum was awesome! Scallops were great! No complaints about food. Just be patient with parking.
Tuna burger was great! Service was quick enough and the selection of food and drink was good. I wasn’t as fond of the French fries though, as to me they were undercooked and too potato-y. Don’t let that stop you from coming here though! The mains were good enough and the staff was friendly.
Oysters were pretty good. I had the grilled chicken and veggies. The chicken itself did not have much flavor but the cheese and sauteed mushrooms made it worthwhile. The side of veggies lacked seasoning. Friendly staff and owner were accommodating.
This is more like 4.8 stars, but I'm rounding up. We had lunch and ordered Kids Fried Shrimp, Kids Burger, Fish Sandwich - Grilled, Shrimp Sandwich - Grilled, and a Crawfish Bisque Cup. The fish sandwich was one of the best I've ever had. The shrimp sandwich and fried shrimp were excellent. Everything, including the service, was great except... I thought the coleslaw was a little bland.
A hidden gem on Padre Island just past the bridge. It looks like an old house and has limited seating. However out back is where the fun is. Picnic table seating and a stage fronted by an old pontoon boat, too cool. The service was excellent. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. We shared a bowl of gumbo arhat was delicious. My wife then had fried shrimp, fries and coleslaw. The shrimp was very lightly breaded and scrumptious. I had a dozen oysters in the half shell. Very fresh and tasty. I highly recommend you try this restaurant out.
First off the impression wasn’t much coming into the parking lot. Not much to show for it besides a sign. When you walk in we were greeted with a friendly smile and we sat at the bar. Not entirely the staffs fault but honestly the bar was not the best atmosphere to be at unless you are one of the locals - there were some confrontations and it was a little uncomfortable - I would suggest sitting at a table. Ordered a punch drink we found online (there’s no drink menu) and it was pretty good but nothing to write home about. Ordered half a dozen oysters on the half shell and a dozen grilled shrimp meal with grilled veggies and rice pilaf. Oysters were definitely fresh and absolutely delicious. The shrimp was amazing and really good rice and veggies. Highly recommend. If I had sat at a table and just ordered a soda or water I think I might have given 5 stars tbh. Overall definitely worth the visit.
We visited tonight after reading TripAdvisor reviews and were not disappointed. The crawfish bisque was incredible! We had the special which was the blackened drum covered with crawfish. Amazing. The wait staff was fun and energetic and made us feel very welcome. We will be back!
Had the fish stuffed with crab meat. No fillers. Perfectly cooked. Try the oysters with cheese and jalapeños. Very good
This place doesn't look like much from the outside, or inside. But, the food is outstanding and the service is better than the 5 star restaraunts. The staff takes an interest in all the customers calling the regulars by name. The food was outstanding. We had the fried fish, the crab queso, the popcorn shrimp and the mixed vegetables. All were outstanding.
My wife and I recently went here for lunch. The food and service was fantastic. My wife had the fried gulf shrimp and I had the blackened fish. We loved it. Also I very much enjoyed the sweet tea
