Big Daddy’s is by far the best ice cream shop on the planet! Their homemade ice cream is delicious, fresh and come in a variety of flavors. My favorite go to happens to be the banana split ( order small they are enormous) and always have fresh bananas riped to perfection. My son’s favorite is the brown sundae which never disappoints. Don’t get fooled by the line 1. It moves fast, they have filling orders down to a science. 2. It’s worth whatever wait there is for this super yummy treat. Beware, it can be addictive!!

We love their homemade ice cream. Lots of interesting flavors like ginger and peanut butter oreo, but the creamy texture is what really makes their ice cream the best! Wish they were open all year.
Had to have an ice cream and wow, what an ice cream we had. Waffle cones with seemed like a pint in each cone. Chose two flavors in each cone. Huge portion, great tasting ice cream! Nice deck with tables and chairs, very clean property.
We've been here once before in 2016 and really like this place. I had the chocolate truffle caramel ice cream and it was really good! Great flavor and they give you a decent amount in the scoop. Like everywhere now a days, their hours are cut down, but I'm not sure if it's due to shortage of employees. I recommend this place when you're in the area for a delicious sweet treat.
Almost a daily stop for ice cream there. So many flavors. They give you good size scoops especially when you pay more for ice cream cones you want good size scoops. Don’t miss out. There are two one in Wells and one in Ogunquit.
There were very long lines at another ice cream joint in Wells, but we went up the road a bit and found ice cream nirvana here! Lots of choices and all the ones we tried were delicious! Well worth going!
We went to the shop in Ogunquit and were happy with the experience. The shop is nice and the girls behind the counter were friendly, fast, and efficient. They serve big portions, the kiddie dish was more like a medium! The ice cream is creamy and rich. Definitely recommend going by yourself, on a date, or with on vacation with your family.
Visited the shop in Ogunquit with kids and grandkids. Not busy mid-afternoon on a beautiful hot July day! Amazing number of flavors. I opted for frozen yoghurt and they also had more flavors than I typically see. Everyone commented on how tasty and creamy the texture. Highly recommended.
