We ate at the Atomic Omelette & Grill for the first time a few days ago. We were promptly greeted upon entering. The restaurant was very clean.Ordering was easy but choosing what to eat was the difficult part because everything listed on the menu sounded delicious! The waitress brought our food out and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our meal.My highlight besides eating was actually talking with the owner about their hibernari sauce that’s made in house. She brought me a sample to try with my omelette and it was absolutely delicious.We’ll definitely be returning to try other items on the menu.
Update:We visited again today and the service was much friendlier and the food was absolutely fantastic!!!! The potatoes are not my thing. The biscuits and gravy are the best in town!!!! I built my own omelet and it was delish.Great food, but service is lacking. Hubby had the Texas Oatmeal, I had the The chessey with a side of crispy bacon, and we shared the biscuits and gravy. The biscuits and gravy were AMAZING! The oatmeal was good. The cheesey omelet was great, but the potatoes that came with them were to spicy for me and a bit on the hard side. The bacon was not at all crispy as I requested. The blueberries that came with the oatmeal were so fresh and sweet I loved them. The other fruit we didn't eat due to strawberry allergies. The service was not friendly and we had to wait to get refills. Our server look at us like we were bothering her. I took one point off for the service and one point off for the bacon not being crisp as requested and potatoes being undercooked.
I too liked the food (crabcake benedict), but felt uncomfortable eating there. Go to the counter to order, then sit down and they will bring the drink & food to your table. But, all the staff seemed disinterested and I had to get up & request a take out box. Since this place is under the Quick Bites category, maybe they prefer takeout orders?!
The pancakes were tasty, but of all things the omelette was kind of bland. My wife got the chocolate pancakes which I had a couple bites of and were really tasty. But I got the tamale omelette, and aside from it being a tamale in an omelette it was meh. The eggs weren't really seasoned and the raw tomatoes and onions seemed out of place... Seriously if y'all either did a proper pico or salsa it might work raw, but I think simply sauteing the onions and some peppers would make it a great dish, maybe even throw some mole on to complement the tamale further.
Great food, great coffee, great service, great spot for breakfast.I had the Atomic omelette, I also ordered a stack of pancakes which were huge and delicious.The biscuit was baked to perfection, the bacon, the sausage were also very good. The fruit was nice and sweet.My girl had the salad with chicken.
Amazing concept and creative menu choices. Efficient and energetic staff. The mimosas are delicious and worth the price. Adam and Samatha are just who you want to serve up the best brunch in Texas!
tried this place 3 times and employees always have a attitude and the food is greasy or dry.
Came in used the restroom. Sat down and waited for 15 min but no one came over to attend me. Only 8 people in restaurant and I was the only one that needed to order. They kept looking at me but didn’t come over. I guess since they were closing in an hour and 15min they didn’t want to get anymore customers. Obviously they need to work on their customer service. Why would they put they close at 4 if staff doesn’t want to attend anyone with an hour to go. I would not recommend to anyone. This shows what kind of service and food quality they serve.
By far the worse breakfast place. No flavor, no seasoning. We were very disappointed. All 3 of us got different meals, my brothers bacon cheeseburger was raw! And bland.
I cook better eggs at home. In fact McDonald’s makes 100x better eggs than this place. The food is not good. The “red potatoes” are not even cooked all the way.. they’re hard. This food was such a disappointment on top of their rip off refillable coffee. Do yourself a favor and go to IHOP, get McDonald’s or stay HOME. Do not waste your hard earned money on this place. Absolutely everything I had was subpar. And I paid for this subpar service.
