I’m not from CC and I come here just for this place! The quality, attention to detail, balance of flavors, complexity yet simplicity, amazes me every time. If you’re a true sushi sashimi lover you absolutely must sit and enjoy the magic that appears before you from Jake! I’d go every week if I could. I’ve had some great sushi in my life and this is some of the best. Go, experience it for yourself and then tell your family and your friends!
Aka sushi is one of the best in Corpus Kristi and 100miles vicinity south texas for Authentic Japanese Sushi....I will give 10/10 for the owners and the key two chefs I meet on my visit. Great food and excellent service. The manager on duty herself came to our table and fixed our dish that was prepared incorrectly. She gave us a warm and welcoming experience that won our hearts and will continue to eat at this unique restaurant.

Quaint little spot downtown and was surprised wither awesome customer service and delicious food. We had Aka Ramen w chicken and tofu, Aka Tower, and some sushi from there and it was all SUPERB. Will definitely come back when in Corpus again
Awesome place for sushi, great service. Even when they were busy on a Friday night! We got the super boat and it was more than enough for 4 people! The fusion salad was so good! The garlic edamame was delicious!
First time here. Sushi Resturant next door would not seat us. Thank goodness our we would not have found this GREAT Aka Sushi.Our waiter Dominic was great and treated us extremely well.
The best sushi I’ve ever had! Extremely friendly staff, clean restaurant, and even catered to our 6 year old. We will definitely be back!
The sushi is delicious and the employees are all sooooo nice and attentive. I highly recommend that you try this restaurant the next time you're downtown and want some sushi. Mmmmmm
If you're looking for a great date night I definitely recommend Aka! The atmosphere is so nice. The sushi and chicken fried rice are delicious!! The service was excellent and you can enjoy a nice walk in downtown Corpus Christi when you're done eating!
