Great as always, we enjoy the pick-two with fried onions and pickles. Try the gulf shrimp blackened, highly recommended. Same with the Buffalo chicken tenders, great flavors going. Drew has waited on us a number of times, great service every time. This is one of our favor spots in The Woodlands, great atmosphere for the family, delicious food, and good service.
I came here with my family on a Sunday evening and received horrendous service. We’ve come here many times and have always had decent food and service. This time was the exact opposite. The few employees they had on the shift weee just standing around. We were the few families there and had to wait in line, wait to have our drinks taken and our food confirmed. Plus, the server never refilled our drinks because she (and other employees) were busy celebrating an employee’s birthday in the front room. We were so irritated that we paid good money to be ignored! The food came out cold, too. The hamburger came out without cheese and veg because they ran out so it was a slab of hamburger meat and buns. Nothing else came with it, now tell me who eats a burger like that?! We ordered a peach cobbler too and the pie came out frozen rather than hot. I’ve been coming here weekly for 5 years and I will never come back to this place again.
Visiting from Austin. Nice clean stop near the hospital. We stopped by before heading home. We had the bacon cheeseburger (could of used more bacon. Its like it had one strip.), cheesesteak, and mac and cheese brisket balls. The brisket balls were good. Not sure if they are temporary but I would try them ASAP. Wish i had marinara sauce with it. I would visit again.
I ordered the beef brisket loaded potato Andy wife had a chicken taco salad. The bbq was bland, I missed the smokey flavor and tanginess of Texas bbq. It just tasted fatty. My wife's salad was served over tortilla chips that were rancid and tasted of d old.
We stopped here for a late lunch early dinner and we were not disappointed in the food. Good American food and the portions are generous! You order your food at the counter then seat yourself. You are given a # and your waitress then picks it up off your table (the #) and then takes care of you. Becca, our waitress, was friendly, and attentive.Did I mention good portions and delicious?!
Bartenders are friendly and knowledgeable although under-paid. They do the 50% more or less of the servers job in a traditional setting, yet to my understanding are paid small fractions compared to a typical servers wage at this establishment. Very tough to find good workers w that arrangement. Great food and awesome atmosphere. I love Willie's. Take care of your staff in a logical and properly financed fashion, and accordingly i believe your business will grow and further provide fantastic experiences.
It's not often I get a great all around experience at a restaurant since the pandemic shut down stuff but I have to say... this one in particular at college park was amazing. Crystal was our waitress and she was great! The greater was awesome and knowledgeable about the menu. Although i didnt get her name she deserves praise too. The food was amazing, the dessert was better. I recommend this place to eat! Additionally, the margaritas and slushy drinks... were great to say the least! Btw we ordered a lot of food so our bill was about 100 so its decent pricing.
Sunday night. Not super busy but not empty either. I can't tell if they were understaffed or just not on their game. Our server Nathan was super nice, and he did a great job. But everything else was sub-par. Only one person taking orders at the front so it took over 10 minutes to get through the three parties in front of us. Appetizers took forever, and so did the food. To top it off, I tried the Patty Melt, and it was bland and gross (the kitchen did fine preparing it...just a bad recipe. Time to take it off the menu!) I know Willie's can do better!
Food always taste great but the little crawfish was served 25 minutes after the entrees of the other people sitting at the same tableMight of said nothing but the crawfish are just so small I thought I should put on some pressure for them to get back to the way they used to perform
Willies grill & Icehouse is fantastic! Ashley was our waitress and she was very fast and friendly! Both the manager Sandy and Ashley were very accommodating! We had a group of 13 and they quickly got us tables! They have the best service around! The food was hot and quick! Couldn’t have asked for better service!
