We dined at the Hoppy Kitchen this evening. IT. WAS. AWESOME!!!!
Friendly staff. So fresh. The fish and chips were too hot to eat at first LOL. It was definitely not cooked ahead of time. It was very good and the portions were quite generous.
The fried mushrooms are awesome. Really enjoyed the fish & chips and frito pie as well. Friendly service, fun atmosphere. Love finding and supporting a great mom & pop place.
We tried this place last week and we're very impressed with the quality of food and service. We had a pizza and the fish plate. Wow, we are definitely planning a return visit. Everything was fresh , not from a warming tray like the bigger chain restaurants. It's nice to see and taste the difference between an already to eat now plate and " we make your order after you place it". They will fix it how you want it! I've been in the food business many years and know the difference.
If u r blessed enough to live close to Conroe, DO NOT MISS ur OPPORTUNITY TO DISCOVER THIS HIDDEN GEM!!!Unfortunately?, we FULL-TIME RV & have only been in town visiting 4 few months... but we have EATEN our way thru the ENTIRE MENU!! :)!!! THE Burgers ROCK (especially the cheese they use:)... & then there's the AMAZING pulled pork sandwich (rocks the Casbah!) & their grilled cheese with bacon, tomato & spinach...mmmmmm! It's a small family business & they are KILLING IT!! We honestly were not disappointed in ANY of their menu items! They have nice covered are u can eat at (with a brewery next door for those who are thirsty!! LOLPLEASE Check them out & SUPPORT THEIR SMALL BUSINESS efforts...We r headed out of conroe in few days & R already grieving not having their food:(
We had high expectations for this place but it wasn't as good as I hoped. We ordered burgers with fries and a personal cheese pizza. The burgers were average. They were too dry. I like 5 Guys burgers better. The fries were pretty good though. The pizza was good, maybe a little too salty. They got my order wrong too for one of the burgers.
This place is outstanding. We ordered the Super Supreme pizza ? and it was better than we expected. I also ordered a bacon cheeseburger ? the chef asked if I was taking it home and he suggested a different burger so it wouldn't get messy and damn it was great. The lady who took my order saw I was struggling to get up the steps and too darn stubborn to use th ramp. She did everything she could to assist me and was super sweet. The service was so great I called the owner and complimented him on the great staff. I had not even tried the food yet.
I would much rather spend my money with local small business and I was not disappointed.The food and service were awesome. I had meat lovers pizza and it was absolutely delicious.It’s good to see a long time “local boy” doing good things in the area where he grew up.
This place is very unique in that it’s very humble. The food is amazing. We had the meat lovers pizza, grilled cheese, regular burger, pulled pork and fried mushrooms. They were all well cooked, seasoned and portions where more then we could handle. Highly recommend. Good atmosphere and the brewery next door was just as good.
First time I'm in that restaurant, I love the services. I order a small veggie pizza that taste so good I will definitely come back and tell everyone if you are looking for a great homemade pizza with a great crust sauce and.topping you.won't be disappointed.
