I came and ordered a bowl of Gumbo and I was disappointed that my bowl was not filled to the top, I know you are not supposed to overfill it, but this could use a little more roux at the very least. What a bummer..
Fast, and I mean fast and friendly service. Very reasonable prices, tried the fried pickles which were good, the gumbo which was excellent, a fish and sausage platter which was very good. Gosh, I can honestly say I LOVED the beans and rice as well. Very very satisfied and sure to return.
Great food. Concerned about service moving forward. Tried to order/eat at Conroe catch today and had staff member on the phone arguing with customer about bad service extremely loud in dining area my entire meal. Made for very uncomfortable lunch today to say the least.
We stopped by to try the crawfish. They were small (that's why I only gave 4-stars), but had good flavor and texture. I like that you can choose your flavor and choose mild/medium/hot. The food passing by to other tables all looked good! We would try it again. This restaurant is counter service and has a drive thru.
Great food! I got the catfish and shrimp basket, my buddy came with me and he spent a little less than 20$ to eat and I paid just a little more than 20$. More than reasonable for the quality of the meal. The fries were delicious and crispy, the fish was tender and juicy without being slimy, the shrimp was tasty, crispy and juicy. Only gripe I could have is the cocktail sauce was light on the horseradish but other than that, Absolutely delicious, would recommend.
We arrived at The Catch about 4:30PM on Sunday, 5/15/2022. The establishment was "Busy", Called In Orders, Take Outs, Drive Through, In House Orders. We placed our order and received our cups for Cold drinks. We went directly to the Drink counter where we found the Ice machine to be empty. We immediately notified the young man server and then seated ourselves. After "A" while, the Main server lady was passing our table and we notified Her about the Ice Machine problem. People kept coming in and ordering and they found out, just like us, that the Ice Machine wasn't working. They just got drink and no ice and went and sat down. After "A" while, my Wife got up and went to the Service counter where She notified the other girl server that the Ice machine wasn't working. My Wife got the 'Deer In Ther Headlights Look". After a few seconds my Wife suggested that She, the server, fill or cups from the Ice machine at the Drive Through station, which She did. After the other , No Ice Patrons witnessed this, they All did what we did. One would think, "If our ice machine in the Dining area isn't working, we have to fill the customers cups with ice, from the Drive Through counter Ice machine, when the Customer orders. However this did not happen. Customers were given cups, they would notice the Ice machine didn't work and They had to ask for Ice. Now, the Food was awesome as always. The establishment was extremely busy but that is no excuse for not taking note of an issue and dealing with it. The Solution should not be the Customer's duty. We will continue to support The Catch. Management needs to do a little better job on training, "Quick Thinking"
It was a great experience in my first visit. Tried second time, just better than before, went third time and I am now addicted to this place!!! You can imagine the taste, quality, quantity and price! No complaints whatsoever. They offer free margaritas and beer with refills. Amazing place indeed.
For our first time here this was pretty good! We are picky on our crawfish and like spicy! CLEAN CRAWFISH! The catch plate was very good and cooked great ? dessert was good as well!
My husband and I went to The Catch and had the boiled crawfish. They were the worst I have ever eaten and they were dirty and some smelled bad. I have eaten at the Catch before and everything was good. I will go back but never the boiled crawfish.
Good food at a not to bad price. The bang bang shrimp is awesome!!!!
