My most recent visit to Taco Cabana at this location has been wonderful! In the past, they have always missed something with my order. Today they paid attention to detail and my meal turned out excellent and well put together. The staff seemed more knowledgeable, caring, and one of the new managers, Brandon, was very helpful explaining the menu changes. I definitely will return and expect the same service I got tonight.

Went through the drive thru today and ordered sopapias with honey, 1 soft beef taco and 1 soft chicken taco with cheese on the side (which they charge extra for it to be on the side) and pico with my tacos. They didn't put any honey, cheese, or pico in my bag, both tacos were chicken, and one of the tacos was crispy instead of soft. Like literally did everything wrong. I called on the phone to try to let them know several times and all it did was ring with no answer.It wasn't even busy as there was only one other car in the drive thru and two cars in the lot so all I can figure is poor training and management and staff that must just not care.

They forgot the salsas, forks, and straws. Burnt the flauntas. But over all, workers were nice, food was okay. The Huntsville location seems to be better quality.

I placed an order worth almost $400 for my wife's surprise birthday party. The order was placed on a Monday and confirmed on Tuesday for the following Saturday for a 5 pm pick up time. Timing was very important because food had to be in place at my home by 6 pm and home was 30 minutes from Taco Cabana. When i arrived, no one was allowed in because of employee shortages. I was told to go to the drive thru. I was there at 4:58 pm and was told my order had not been received yet. I was told to go park and wait. I called the catering number and they confirmed the order was made for 5 pm. They called Taco Cabana and found that the person that took the reservation did not tell the workers an order had been made and none had been prepared. I called the store and they said they would work on it when they received the order from the catering people. I called the catering service 20 minutes later and they said they were told they could not fill the order. It was now pushing 5:30 pm so we called a Mexican restaurant that said they could have it ready in 20 minutes. They had it ready in 15 minutes. Not only did Taco Cabana lose my $400, I will never darken the doors of this facility in Conroe again. I could not answer many of the questions below because I was there to pick up an order and never allowed to enter the facility and only had a few words with the one person there that would not answer my questions. He did tell me that they did not have the meatless option that they advertised. You did not give me the option of a zero rating that I preferred so I checked the 1 circle.

So the first and only time I went here we got two orders of the steak tacos which in total cost around $20-$25 and literally all we got was 2 tacos(per meal) on a shell with a piece of steak with nothing else on the taco besides the 2 small slices of meat. I’m not sure if we ordered wrong or if that’s honestly all you get for a $10+ meal, not worth it in my opinion. Only reason I’m giving 2 stars is because they do have margaritas so they didn’t disappoint on the drinks at least… customer service wasn’t bad either.

Quality of food is well below par. Customer service was awful. I rarely write reviews but this location was so horrible I had to write one. I do not recommend going to this location unless it's your absolute last resort.

Excellent late-night snack! 2 Enchilada Plate is highly recommended. Friendly drive-thru.

I bought a breakfast plate here. I was going to eat inthere dining area, but the room and tables were filthy. I ate in my car, but ended up throwing the food away. Itwas terrible.

There was no customers but us and 5 people working. They looked at us but never acknowledged that we were there for a good 5 minutes. When they did finally come to take our order the young man was rude. The food was not so good either. I’m disappointed that out of 5 people no one seems to have a decent attitude. Never coming back!

I haven't been to a Taco Cabana in years. My previous experiences were less than stellar, with dirty restaurants and only so so food.We decided to try the one in Conroe, Texas, as it was past lunch time and we were hungry.I had the fajita chicken bowl (otherwise known as a taco salad), and my wife had a bean burrito and a chicken soft taco.Both of us thought the food was good and also a good value for what we paid.The restaurant was clean and appeared to be well maintained.Due to COVID-19, the salsa bar is no more, but all you have to do is ask and they will give you to-go containers of whichever variety you would like.We will definitely be checking out other locations to see if the chain, add a whole, had improved as well.
