Always good service here for the most part, sometimes they can be slow, but always friendly and accommodating. Tonight we were told the wait would be 15 to 20 min, and I think it ended up being 10 min and on Saturday night. The food was excellent and cooked as ordered. The salads are always fresh with no wilted lettuce. The steaks were great. Recommend!!
Our order for curbside was set. We pulled in and text the spot number. After waiting 20 minutes, I went in. There was our order, in the beer joint area. The guy said here's your order. When I told him it's a good thing I came in. He asked, did you call from your spot? Yes, text 23 minutes ago for confirmation. As I left I thought maybe stop flirting with waitresses and do your job.
I got beef tips, it was the worst food I’ve ever had at a Landry’s restaurant. It was 3 pieces of meat full of gristle and hard to chew, it must have been scrap from a steak, couldn’t eat it.
Stopped in for lunch. Service was spectacular. Bread was warm and delicious. Salad was great. Mashed potatoes were way over salted. The chicken fried steak tasted old. Also I thought I could probably teach them how to make one so the batter stays on better. For me to leave half a steak on the plate is unheard of of. When asked if I wanted a to go box the answer was no. Come on people a chicken fried steak is not that difficult
My wife and I ordered a chopped steak, medium. when it arrived it was completely raw. The waitress asked if we'd prefer well-done and I told her I wanted it medium. She took it back to the kitchen and when someone else brought it back it was burnt to a crisp. I immediately asked for the bill. The waitress asked if I wanted a box so I could take it home and I told her I couldn't eat it anyway. When I got the bill I was shocked to see we had been charged for the chopped steak we didn't eat. We have eaten at Saltgrass regularly, until now

Is this restaurant run by children? The service was poor and the food was not that great. My ribeye was medium when I ordered medium rare, the Brussel sprouts were soggy and the shrimp were gross and dried out. Just all around bad. The staff needs some more training.
So the customer service was good and we didn’t have to wait long at all for our reservation. YET, as you see per the photos. The food portions are small. Our food did not come out fresh. Some of our food was cold. My husband’s Brussel sprouts were burnt and everyone who had a steak said it was fatty. My broccoli was undercooked and cold. But our bill was over $100. Definitely overpriced.
Enjoyed dinner tonight with the family. Brittany the hostess was awesome! She always is and remembers us when we come in. We called ahead for a table. Excellent service by Ruby who was very friendly and attentive all while training a new server. The food was very good. My daughter has been raving over the grilled chicken and my wife had the chicken laredo. I enjoyed the country fried steak. Great job to the chef! We will be back to dine again soon. We frequent Salt Grass and will visit soon!
