Cute little shop. The lady and guy are nice. There’s some younger guys who work there too occasionally and they’re nice too. Good food and not expensive
Great customer service. Great food. Great prices. The only thing that is not so great is that they run out of food early. Definitely 5 star donut shop. Would recommend to anyone.
My boyfriend and I absolutely LOVE prime donuts. It's a family owned business and has excellent donuts. So so much better than a chain donut shop. The family is extremely friendly and they all work really hard. They also have kolaches and sandwiches which are amazing ?. I'd highly recommend stopping by.
2 weekends in a row I go to prime donuts around 9 am and they don’t have donuts. Ask the owner about making more and he is argumentative and makes excuses. While they are good donuts they’re not great yet they charge a premium for them like they are gold. They are never friendly. Just lazy and rude. I will never go here again for my personal self or my business.
Fried dough topped with icing in a convenient ring shape. Various other mouth-watering confections nearer the savory side of the spectrum. Plenty of drinks to choose from. The prices are fair and the service is fast and friendly. On the morning of the 7th day, God rested at Prime Donuts. And it was good.
I stopped there for the first time this morning. Our go to place in Kingwood opened in Conroe too but it was not great and a bit farther than I wanted to drive so we tried Prime. Much of what has been stated in other reviews is very accurate. If you were to drive by and see it, chances are you would keep going because it's adjacent to a gas station which is not very appealing to the eye. All this aside, the service was very good. Fast, and friendly. The donuts were fresh, and tasty. Nothing really differentiating from our go to place. What brought us here in the first place was the specialty donuts. I thought my son would get a special treat with glazed donuts topped with his favorite breakfast cereals. They had none on display and were unwilling to take a plain donut, glaze it and finish it. I encountered the same when I asked for a vanilla frosted peanut donut. They offered me chocolate or maple and were unwilling to make a vanilla frosted peanut topped donut. The main point of our trip was for these two items and we walked out disappointed. It's possible they were out of donuts by 7:30 am on a Sunday, but then make some more as you would imagine people getting out of church might stop. Our search for a favorite donut shop in Conroe will continue.
Fast and friendly service, top notch kolaches and even better donuts. Reasonably priced and conveniently located, I come here every morning.
Nestled in a small strip center next to a gas station is Prime Donuts, don't let it's unassuming surroundings fool you. It's a top rated local favorite, I've been here over 10 times now and always leave happy! Get there reasonably early to have access to the full arsenal of yummy fried dough with assorted toppings and stuffings! This last trip I tried their rendition of the Boudin Kolache, it was awesome! I've had other versions all over. some ok, most are pretty bad unfortunately, they can have a myriad of issues, especially the soggy factor. Not Prime Donuts! Theirs was terrific. My wife had an eclair of theirs filled with a cream cheese filling of some sort that was actually really good! The inside is simple and lots of pinks lol. Every employee I've met, not sure if it's all family or not, they have all been so friendly, always smiling and laughing and always willing to make something happen for you. I'm going tomorrow too!!
Seriously a must stop almost every morning! This family is the sweetest group of folks on the planet and their donuts and food are fantastic. Always a good experience and enjoy making this a stop on my daily commute.
I love the owners. They are such nice people!! I try to stop by everytime I'm in the area. Donuts, croissants, breakfast tacos, are all delicious. And prices are great!
