When we first walked in, a host/ server/ manager (not sure) noticed my 4 year old facinated with the lobsters so he pulled the biggest one out for her to get a picture with and pet. Thought that was sweet.Really the best piece of salmon I've ever had. It was a nice size and although it was only lemon butter on it, it had so much flavor.(not pictured but it was beautiful) Everyone loved their food. Huge kids plates. We were all so full but it was so good we didn't stop until our plates were clean. Server Nate or Nathan was really great.
Pappadeaux has always been a family favorite but the past few times we have visited, it seems like the place is declining. Hostess are never friendly, act like they don’t want to be there. Putting yourself on the waitlist online is not worth it. Going in and putting your name gets you seated 15 minutes faster. Making reservation doesn’t do much as every time I do the table is never ready and we wait for 10 minutes or more. Service is a 50/50 chance of being good. Wish it was worth the money but even the food feels bland or not cooked properly. I really hope the old feeling comes back because this was once a great place
We love Pappadeaux's! It is always a treat to go when we're in Texas since there aren't any in Oklahoma. The oysters were fresh and huge, the redfish Pontchartrain was fresh and not too spicy, the red snapper was outstanding, and the creme brulee was tasty. We were given a booth in the back of the restaurant which was much quieter than the main dining room. Kayman was our server and he was friendly and efficient. We had a question about our bill the day after we had visited and the manager was friendly and gladly reviewed the charges with us. Turns out that it was my math that was wrong. ;) You can't go wrong with anything on their menu!
Stopped in at 3pm today. Food was excellent along with our waiter Meek. Can’t say enough good things about this young man. I hope he owns his own restaurant someday. He gave my husband and I excellent service. Thank You Meek
Gumbo was fantastic and the Cajun Shrimp and grits were phenomenal. The wife had never been to a Pappadeaux Seafood kitchen and loved it!
Has been one of our favorite places for over 20 years. Great food!

Had shrimp gumbo as a starter, fried seafood platter as the main and cheesecake for dessert. Will skip the gumbo next time as it really was not good, far from cajun. The catfish was not cleaned well and tasted it. The cheesecake was pretty good. The wait staff were good but is a bit pricey.
We came here for a family members birthday and i just gotta say we all loved it so much! We did have to wait about 10-15 mins for a table because they are really busy. When we got seated we got to order our drinks and they gave us bread and fondue as our appetizers (we payed for) and it was amazing! ? Later we ordered, received our food and i was basically drooling because it all looked and tasted so good! The nice gentleman gave my family member a desert on the house since it was her birthday and it was awesome! I can't wait to come here again and if you have not, you should asap.??
1st at this location and I must say the environment was very smooth and nice. Excellent staff and thank you to our waiter Alex. Had the 3 fillets meal with some dirty rice on the side and before that the crawfish meat pies——on other level those meats are ?
