Not timely with to-go orders (done two in the last few days), and they aren’t attentive to detail either. Forgot my 2nd drink with the first order, and didn’t slice or toast bagels with today’s order.
So I used to love their breakfast sandwiches but lately they have been getting my order wrong. I went recently and the egg was a scrambled plastic like texture, very little cheese and one small piece of bacon!! In my opinion not worth the price!
Went there for a breakfast sandwich before 8am and they were already out of brioche rolls. How can you already be out of them that early when most of your breakfast sandwiches are made with them? Bad planning I would guess. Just a sign of the times.Food quality is good but it’s also very expensive. It is hard to justify when the quality isn’t much better than other restaurants, in fact I can make a case for it being better at other places for less money.
We use to have Panera delivered to our office in Houston, but they no longer deliver so I decided to pick some up myself on the way in. I order online Friday and came to find out when I got to work 8 of the bagels I ordered were not there and replaced with some others. We were all very disappointed as those bagels are the ones I know everyone likes. I heard two of our other offices did not have a good experience either, so none of us are ordering Panera again. It's sad how restaurants really do not care about customer service since Covid.
This morning at 6:20am I came in for a coffee to have dine-in as I read. The drip coffee dispensers were brewed and placed out, the order process was self-explanatory, but the cleanliness of the dining room and men's bathroom was disappointing. Every table I saw was dirty. Later using the restroom, the floor was awfully sticky and certain areas of the bathroom, like the side of the bathroom trashcan, clearly hadn't been cleaned in a long time. Cleanliness was the sole piece that brought my experience down. Even the sanitizer at the front (the only sanitizer available for guests, I believe) was giving merely a few drips and then not getting reactivated when I'd waive my hand a few more times. A small refillable bottle of sanitizer at the coffee station would be appreciated in case that sanitizer station is acting up, as I know they can be troublesome to try and fix. All together, the closing team the night before should have cleaned the tables and seats, mopped the restroom with a mop that's bathroom specific (a basic rule in food safety), and given the morning crew a fresh start in this way. I'd love to continue coming, and I will give it a few more times in the morning, but if this experience continues to repeat itself, I'd rather not.
I waited close to 20 min for 2 breafast sandwiches last week when I was at this location, they were also both wrong and then I tried to bring it to the attention of the young lady and was told to my face they were made correctly (I think I know if my order is correct) A good rule of thumb usually is don't argue with a customer when you mess an order up. They did remake it but by that time after all that it was besides the point. Place is ALWAYS filthy the bathrooms always dirty and smell awful, the same busted aerator on the men's bathroom sink has been there for years so u can barely turn the water on or it pressure washes all over the place spraying. That's a cheap fix and something that should have been done a long time ago, it's the little things like that as well as the big things like employees with attitudes or lying to the customers. The way this location is managed leaves a lot to be desired and needs an overhaul.
This panera bread n College park has gone WAY bad with customer service. It is 10:15am in morning. Was told could not get breakfast cause they put the eggs away! Breakfast is till 10:30 am. No sweets but 2 muffins and 5 cookies. Service here is awful. Management needs to improve here as does training with staff. We belong to coffee membership. NO coffee! A little dark roast that was COLD. Told 2 people at counter. Have whatever attitude.Again poorly Management here, period. Corporate, U need traing here!! Food cold, I will cancel my coffee membership. Why ha e when can't get coffee cause staff don't make it or keep up.This is the worst panera bread have ever been too. I travel for business alot.Corporate step in here and fix this store!! Sadly lacking panera bread.
