We love this place , I have only tried a few things on the menu that I have loved and then stuck to them. I always asked for the more authentic dishes. The Barilla Tacos are amazing !!!! We always come back because they take such good care of us. We have been going since they opened. I have never had a bad experience. We have gone for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Enchiladas are to die for. I also have had such an amazing experience with the best server there. Mirna Gonzales was such an amazing person. I was having a terrible day and her smile just made it all go away. Not only do I recommend their amazing food. But ask for her she’s worth it.
Every time we come in we have a great experience! From the friendly greeting when we arrive all the way to taking our last bite of Quatro Leches...Our waiter Christian is genuinely a great guy! Food is great, atmosphere is great, and the entire staff is excellent!
It was good. The salsa was fresh and yummy. The chips are thick and good. We had fajitas and they were good quality and a fair price. The service was good and the staff was friendly. The refried beans were very good to me. I didn't have the tortillas, but my husband said they tasted good, and they certainly didn't look like the ones you buy at the store pre-made. I just commented on that since a previous reviewer said otherwise. We went once in the first and second week of January, 2022. ? We will be back.
I was a regular customer of this restaurant.Not anymore. I typically went there once aWeek. I went in today and had my regularChicken fajitas. I had to ask for silverwareAnd a plate and had to ask for a refill on myDrink. And when I was finished eating I askedMy server for 1 tortilla.and she replied thatI would have to order 3 tortillas and that I would be charged for it.I have spent over $3000 over the past coupleOf years at this restaurant. Not anymore!
Not good at all. This was our 2nd time here, since we wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. We had the carnita gordita, it was a mess! Very little pork, no flavor and it even being a gordita was questionable. Another plate our party had was the Tejano. It was NOT good. The meat was very very salty and mushy. Needless to say we will not be back, I would rather pay more for a better quality food with a chef who actually knows how to cook.
Eating at Mestizos was reminiscent of that scene from the movie Ratatouille, except it was a far cry from fond memories. I honestly felt sad while eating here as the food I ordered (a half pound of barbacoa and three scrambled eggs) strangely reminded me of my unpleasant childhood: A once long forgotten time of poverty where my teenage mom would cook for us kids with good intention in her heart but the quality just was not there because of how poor we were.I couldn’t finish what I ordered, honestly, and I am really big on eating protein... I forced down the dry barbacoa since I do not like to let meat go to waste and took a few bites of the scrambled egg. It had some sort of weird filler in it, like some sort of flour or maybe even milk? It tasted fried and had an off-putting texture. These were not fresh eggs.My experience has nothing to do with this establishment by any means.The service received was good, the waiter cordial and attentive, and the place was clean. But I just did not enjoy the food and the memories it seemed to awaken in me. Wanted to also note that my husband did not finish his food either (Migas Classico), saying it was too greasy for his taste. I didn’t sample his plate as I really struggled to try to finish what I had ordered. We will not be going again, and I wonder if maybe we are just too snobby when it comes to food.
Nice little Mexican Restaurant. The food was great and pricing was reasonable. Had a good variety of Mexican authentic meals.

Our 1st time. Pro Nice interior. Place are clean. At the beginning the service is good. The food is ok. We ordered Menudo, Beef soup and 2 eggs. Cons After we got our food our server is not very attentive. We had to asked other to get our napkins, straws and billed. We did not even get plastic bag for our leftovers food. For me the price of the food a bit over price.
