Service was bad, food was nasty .. ordered salsa verde enchiladas chicken felt like it had sand , beans tasted like they were old .. chips were cold salsa tasted and looked like it came from a cane. golden Burrito tasted like tortilla was rubbery .. had a weird taste. .. we new to area looking to try new places .. definitely not coming back.. when we told the manager in charge he was trying to disagree with me and said I have not had a complaint all day and was upset with us and never apologized for the unpleasant visit. Also the waitress was rude and not friendly at hall she would just stand there when we asked questions. She acted like she didn’t wanna help us and when she gave us our food she just set it down and ran off and didn’t ask if it all looked good.
Nothing here really did it for me. Nothing was bad, but to my tatse everything was mediocre. Another issue that I had was the combination of food on the plates. I couldn't really find anything that had what I wanted on it. Usually not that hard at most Mexican food places. The guacamole was excellent and again, nothing was bad... Just not anything for me to get excited about.
This place was sooo bad. I’m not usually a picky eater, but all of it was tasteless. The margaritas were super sweet with not a hint of liquor. The salsa was not good. It’s just cold tomato sauce with a touch of cilantro. The chips were warm and had good flavor. The beans have no seasoning at all. It’s just boiled beans in water with raw bacon floating on the top. The chicken was super dry and I chewed on it forever. And not only that, super expensive for poor food.
Got chicken flautas with 3 extra. Rice and beans chips n salsa and cheese charro beans and guacamole salsa. I called and ordered ahead of time for curb side pick up. The curb side pick up is on the right side of the building close to the washiterea. It only took 10 min to get my order from the time i placed it. Food was awesome and fresh.
we had an awesome waitress, who stayed near and kept us refilled non stop. The food on the other hand was not good. my daughter ate one fajita, and started feeling sick. I ordered the Monterey chicken plate, and it looked like microwave food. The chips, salsa, and queso were great though. Something has changed, and the food is no longer being prepared or presented the right way. We have been regulars for over 10 years, and always recommend. But, these last 2 visits did it for us. We will find another restaurant to frequent.
I have been here maybe 2 times. Both times, the service was great! The food was tasty and hot, and our order was correct.
An old Conroe Classic! This place has been there for years and talk about consistent! It's just as incredible then as it still is now. The food and service are impeccable and it is sure not to disappoint! Always a great experience...?
Overall excellent dining experience. Food was hot and tasty, service was excellent, and restaurant was clean and well-maintained. Will definitely go back when we’re back in the area.
This place was great! Went in while traveling back to Houston. Wasn't directly off the highway but it was close. They had a great happy hour. Drinks was good. The chunky guac was fresh and delicious. I got the beef toastadas, they good. Food prices were very reasonable. Definitely recommend if you are in the Conroe area❤️
It was good, not great but good. I ordered the mix fajitas for 2 was happy with my order. The Micheladas were very good and the flan and mini sopapillas were delicious.
