Tried a new place (to us) while in Conroe. The place is spacious and inviting, with quirky decor on the walls and ceiling. The staff was friendly and attentive. The portions are large and very tasty! I was double impressed upon discovering that the mashed potatoes were home made! Made the taste all the more enjoyable. Squeezed in room for dessert, the Lava Cake with Ice Cream topping. Was a very nice experience and would return for sure ?
Second time here! I love the menu here. Equal parts comfort food and healthy options. I will say, most restaurants heavily salt or even over salt their food and that is not the case here. I feel like this is a great place to eat when you want something made from scratch because you care about what’s in your food, but don’t actually want to cook.
This was my first time eating at Kitchen Tales. I ordered the Chicken Fried Chicken with mashed potatoes. The chicken was moist and juicy but the chicken crust and gravy lacked flavor. I was not overly impressed with this dish. My friend orders the shrimp and grits and said it was really good. I’d be willing to give it another try for something different on the menu.
Large menu with interesting options. We had ahi tune and venison schnitzel and both were delicious. Decor not so great but that's no big deal.

Ate brunch after church on Sunday. Nice, clean place, friendly service, good food. wife had pecan French toast and she raved about it. I had "bbq pot roast". Not knowing how bbq would fare with pot roast. OMG. Meat was fork tender and melted in your mouth. It was not smoked, but had a bbq flavor which was delicious. We will be back for dinner as menu looked really good. They also serve beer and wine.
Best Food in the area. Shrimp & Grits are creamy and delicious. The very best grilled salmon! Seriously…The best grilled salmon! Roasted veggies were excellent. No to the margarita.?
Finally got to try and was definitely not disappointed!! The Shrimp + Grits and the Lobster Avocado Salad was AMAZING! Will for sure visit again soon ♥️?
Prices are a little pricy, but the food tasted great! Good portions and it all looks fresh. Very good wait staff. Zach was an amazing waiter. He recommended a couple different dishes and was very nice and knowledgeable about the menu. Definitely will be back!
Went to try this place for th first time. Service was good , we were greeted and were seated quickly and our server was very courteous. So that's the reason for the two stars. Beyond the service, the food was bad, how can you burn eggs? Maybe cook the eggs as ordered and not done a big vat. Even after they tri d try fix it they just brought more more a vat of eggs.We won't be back. The food not worth the price.
