All of their food is either cold, burnt, or flavorless. The waitstaff doesn’t come around to refill drinks & the only way we could clear our table of the empty plates was to stack them on the table next to ours. The only reason it gets two stars is because of their large variety of food, the sushi is good, & the overall cleanliness of the place. Unfortunately, the amount of little kids making a mess at the buffet & running around unsupervised is out of their control.
First off, my family and I have been here many times in the past before it was bought out and back then it was good. The experience we had yesterday was FAR FROM THAT!! Just about everything we ate didn’t taste right. My wife said the chicken that has the skewer going through it tasted like celery and the coconut chicken was awful. Egg rolls weren’t cooked thoroughly. None of us got up for seconds. And to top it off, $75.62 for 4 buffets and 3 drinks. Total rip-off. Save your money people. Don’t eat here. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere. 1 star is too good for this place now. -5 is more like it.
Stopped here on a trip out of Houston. They are very hands off and good chance of getting any questions answered. There is a huge selection and most of it is turned over pretty quickly. Pretty good over all. Plenty of sushi options and options for kids and picky eaters. Easy to get plates, freash fruit, many shellfish options and chicken and beef and veggies. Even fried frog legs.Rice was good noodle options are great and what ever the steak pie thing is was surprisingly good.This is definitely American Chinese food expect too much salt and sugar and a full tummy.
Seriously one of the best Chinese buffets in North Houston. The seafood is great and not over cooked or soggy. The pepper chicken and the pepper shrimp are my favorite. The service was tentative as well.
I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS PLACE! The food was below average, the staff was not friendly, as a matter of fact, some of the staff was down right RUDE! The customers were even worse, crowding you, cutting you off, and just getting in your way! Even the salad bar SUCKED! The worst buffet I've ever been to!
Terrible service staff very rude… We have been here a couple times and this is the second time our food has looked this way, also the ladies that work there are very rude & honestly shouldn’t be working in this industry…. Asking for refills politely & don’t get drinks at all end up getting to go drinks & I let lady know on front counter that both waiters were very rude and unprofessional….. the crawfish was terrible and when I didn’t eat it just put napkin on it the lady goes to the lady on front tells them that we are waisting food and getting upset that I didn’t want to eat crawfish that looks like pure sickness. Worst buffet ever!
It was not real good today. It’s a hit or miss with this place. Not sure why. Overcooked food. Hard. Dried out. Will be going elsewhere from now on.
We try Chinese buffet's all over the good ole USA and this was one of the best. I mean come on there were 5 different kinds of shrimp! Very good tasty experience. We would recommend and will be back. They kept the food coming and was fresh. Cannot think of one thing I tried that I did not like. Friendly and fast service.

Surprised at approximately 2pm, on Valentine's day, their buffet was loaded generally if you can get a seat on Valentine's day at the hour at most restaurants there like leftovers. But this restaurant was putting out fresh food the entire time we were there. Excellent service, excellent food and they have to go food from the buffet! I usually do not go out on holidays to eat, but will be returning to KIOKU!!!!!!
