This restaurant left their flyer on my doorstep so I decided to give them a try especially after looking at reviews and I have to say although the phone service was ok and they brought the food in a good time 15-20 min, (which is why they received 2 stars vs 1) the food itself was BAD. I got the tso general chicken , orange chicken, lo mein noodles, wonton soup and shrimp fried rice and we ended up throwing alot of the food away the chicken was soggy and lacked flavor, the rice was bland and the texture was dry. The wonton soup was ok but the meat inside the dumplings were extremely salty and the lo mein noodles were extremely bland and plain was highly disappointed in the food.
Great food, excellent customer service and atmosphere. We'll be back for sure!
I am not truly what you would call a connoisseur of Chinese food as I am a very finicky eater with lots of things I don't like...that said...I love Hunan Village and we go there from Huntsville. My choice is Sweet n Sour Pork and Egg Rolls....their rice is good but I mostly don't eat rice. My husband says everything is good. Portions are like everywhere else (you have some to take home) and the wait staff is friendly and helpful.
These are the best spring rolls I've had in a long time! Not too peppery ? and super crispy too!

Chinese food is my husbands favorite but I am not a fan. So for me to write a review that I really like this restaurant is amazing! This makes my husband pretty happy that I will agree to go to Hunan. I love their hot and sour soup. Also, the service is excellent and the people are very friendly.
Great food and service. The lunch items were large portions. We brought home leftovers.
Amazing food, service, etc! The waiter knew our order after the first time we came, we never even have to order because the waiter already knows. Very friendly, always look forward to seeing the waiter here. Foods great, always hot and fresh.
The last two visits the staff have been rude. The food is better than most of the Chinese places around here. Although, the hot and sour soup is a little too hot for my taste.
This was on of my favorite Chinese restaurants in Conroe. (I now live out of town and looked forward to my favorite dish General Tso) I called in an order this evening and the young lady was rude and unfriendly. When I walked in to pick up my order she was busy looking at her phone. Never made eye contact. I asked if I could please have some hot chili oil. She laid a bag on the counter and said "here" my order came out she just handed it to me without a word. Meal was awful. I will never go back. Very sad.
