Went to cracker-barrel for dinner and will never come back. First it took 30 min to get our seats which I can understand due to it being full but it also took forever to get a waitress. then they don't have salmon or fried chicken and when my family member said they didn't want anything the waitress was rude and rolled her eyes. it took forever to get our food like an hour and when we got it it was all cold even the chicken and dumplings. At that point we paid for our drinks and left.
The to go service is absolutely awful. Noone ever answers the phones. I've been trying to call for over 20 minutes and still no answer. Good thing I wasn't at curbside trying to let them know I was outside waiting. This happens every time we attempt to do take out with them as well. Worst Customer service ever in any Conroe restaurant in the area for take out
In spite of the waiting time (fair) this is a great place for a good ole family type meal. We order our holiday meals here, the order was right and on time, delicious, the ham was great and easy to prepare, the sides: mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole (delicious), baby carrots and the gravy, could not have been better and very easy to warm up, the biscuits and corn bread is worth the drive. Friendly and very welcoming. Kaytlyn (spelling?) was great treat us just like family. Great food and plenty for everyone to enjoy. We were happy to order our Easter Dinner here!
Great food but even better waitstaff. We had the best waitress tonight. Sable is so nice and personable. She made our dinner so great with excellent service and personality. We would definitely go back for her!
Great atmosphere!! Luke the manager was very helpful! However the server we had wasn't very friendly didn't come to check on us very often. Had to ask another server for a refill which they didn't bring. Had to find management to even get a refill. I believe I'll give them another try only because of Luke!!
Great Food!!!! Amazing Service!!!! I love eating here or getting it to go. This is one of the few places I don't have to check my to-go bag because I know it's always packed correctly and nothing is missing. The manager Lucas will right any wrong (although wrongs are rare). This is a manager who takes pride in his restaurant and you can tell. I'll continue to come here often for as long as it's standing. Thanks Lucas for doing your job well.
Haven't eaten here in years. Was pleasantly surprised. The food was good and not overly expensive. Good tea. It wasn't crowded for a Friday night. Poor waiter said he hardly made anything because it was slow. It was kinda cool out that night. They have a big fireplace. Wish we were seated near it would have made for nice dinner ambiance.

Awesome service & delicious food.
Went there during a busy time. Expected a wait. Was left to wait twice as long as the quoted time. Then was told they were waiting for one particular table to get up. We had 5 people and were told a four top with an extra chair would be ready soon. It wasn’t. We had to practically beg to be seated.Then after the long wait we ordered drinks and food all together to try and curtail an even longer wait at the table. That didn’t work. Once we got our food it was all cold. Melted cheese had hardened back into one piece since it was room temperature at best. The skillet that was served on an extra plate to avoid burning your hands would have been warmer after I held it.From the time we walked in to getting our food was over an hour and 35 min. So the cold food was just the salt in the wound. Not to mention the timing of everything around us was off. People had come in after and received their food before us. Other people that got there before us were left without drink and newer tables had their drinks.Will not be coming back. Probably the worst dining experience I have had in years.
