Just finished dinner. So full I think I need to go to bed! The food and service was great!! Don’t let the bad reviews deter you. The red and green salsas that came out in the beginning were homemade and so flavorful. Same with the chips. Food came out quickly and all 4 of us were very pleased with our food and the good prices. Every meat you can think of… Bonus points for multiple vegetarian options. We enjoyed our meal on the cute little patio outside. Glad we stumbled upon this place and gave it a try! We will be back :)
I eat here every chance I get. Mom and daughters run the floor and dad is in the kitchen! They are a wonderful family and the food is consistently superb. Please go and support this local mom and pop restaurant.
We found this restaurant on our way back home to Dallas after looking at reviews. I can honestly say their food is delicious and some of the best authentic Mexican food I’ve had. Don’t let the fact that it’s tucked away keep you from eating here. You won’t regret it. Service was also great and food came out quickly. We will definitely be adding this to our stop next time we’re in Conroe!
I'll add to the good reviews. We've eaten here several times and the consistent quality of the food and friendly staff keeps us coming back.Tastes like it's all made from scratch, even the tortillas and the green/salsa for your chips. Fajitas are always my favorite and are always cooked well and flavorful. I think the beans are cooked with lard which is what I remember growing up.I think this is a family run place and we're happy to support their hard work. My hope is that with success they don't forget the formula of great food and service.Highly recommended
The food was very good but the portion size was very small for the enchiladas and inconsistent for the fajitas. My other party members both got the same fajitas and the meat portions were off, one had a lot more than the other. Also we ordered a LARGE guacamole for $9 and it was only enough for 2 or 3 people to have guacamole. For my enchiladas only about four bites of rice and beans and the enchiladas were tiny about 1 inch wide and half an inch thick. Our waitress was amazing and everything tasted amazing. For the prices, their portions need to be consistent and larger for the enchiladas.
This was my first time here, I brought my whole family here because my wife and Daughter had been there before and enjoyed it. I am sad to do this was a disappointing visit though. The food was pretty good, however the meat had a lot of fatty pieces in it on the Steak Ranchero that my daughter and her friend ordered, and my daughter was disappointed because she said the food quality has gone down. I on the other hand was greatly surprised whenever the check came and it was rather high! (There were six of us) I started calculating and looked closer, on the check it said they were charging for Gratuity for 6 people, but the check didn't show the percentage or the tax. I asked the Waitress about it and she said oh yeah I think the Tip comes out to this... Which after calculating was 18% of the total after tax, and tips are supposed to be calculated before tax. I chalked it up and said lesson learned, and gave them the credit card, receipt came back higher than the total on the check and an open spot to add tip, I looked closer and it shows that they pass on the credit card processing fee to their clients. After this I really really felt Nickeled & Dimed! So I hate to say that what seemed like a real promising place to go to with good atmosphere/art, and good service turned out to be a let down. My wife and Daughter who went there somewhat regularly, and me a potential repeat customer won't be going back. ?
My wife and I visited Angie's after reading reviews on a local food group site. We went for lunch on a Saturday. I have to say, the help in the restaurant was just super. We were pleasantly greeted when we walked in and our server was pleasant and professional. My wife had the pork carnitas and I had chicken fajitas. The food was fabulous. We drank tea, so I can't report on the Margarita's but I have no reason to believe they wouldn't be as great as everything else. The restaurant is small and in a small shopping center, but it is definitely worth going to.
My sister took me here when I moved here last year. It is fantastic I really like the green sauce and chips. There hasn’t been anything I’ve ordered from the menu I haven’t liked. They welcome you like family it is a small little place. They have shortened there hours but it is worth the trip and time to eat there it’s delicious!!!?
I had the Baja tacos. My grilled shrimp was way overcooked, very tough. My fish was ok, too salty for my taste. To be fair..I didn't eat tacos with marinated cabbage that it comes with..maybe that would have offset the saltiness. However, the red and green salsa are really good. Rice and beans are not bad. My husband said the steak for his steak Taco was pretty good. Atmosphere is nice. The strawberry daiquiri was ok... probably won't go again. Food wasn't terrible but...
My husband and I had lunch there yesterday and it was by far one of the best experiences we’ve ever had!! The food was phenomenal and it came out super quick. The services was great and the flour tortillas were AMAZING!! We’ll defiantly be back very soon.
