BEST Chinese Food around NorthGate!Have been there for many, many times. People there are friendly and the food is always freshly made. Going there for a lunch box (which is available on weekdays from 11 to 2pm) would be a great substitute for orange chicken or you just don't know what to get...they always have some great Chinese stuff during lunch worth trying. The only complaint I heard from my friends is they're always waiting too long for their food, but I'd say the food worth waiting! Small tricks to avoid wait too long: call to order in advance??
Their lunch box menu combo(3 entree of choice and white rice) is a nice break from orange chicken and chow mein lol. Huge portion too!02/17/22 price paying with card was $10.81 and I'm pretty sure if you pay with cash it's $9.
By far the best authentic Chinese food in the brazos valley. You know it's good when you're surrounded by Chinese people. Give it a try, my personal recommendation is the Kung Pao chicken, I order it weekly.
Best noodles I've had in College Station. The dumplings were amazing also. Can't wait to go back and try more items off the menu.
A bit of a mixed bag. Wait times can get very long with just a few tables filled. This shouldn’t be a problem for a restaurant that does takeout, except two of the three times I attempted to order online and pickup my food, their website was not accepting orders. As for the food itself, it’s alright. Some of the dishes can be a little bland or not especially flavorful, but they’re not bad. The food isn’t cheap, but understandably so, as the portions are generous. Honestly though, I really only go to this place because it’s the only place that serves Chinese food close to me. There’s a lot of room for improvement.
I ordered the mixed fried rice. They took about 50 minutes to serve my order, and the fried rice too oily. Honestly, the fried rice from Panda Express is cheaper and tastes better. Some of the other dishes are better, like the shrimp with nuts. The only plus with this place is that they serve enough food for two meals. Cheap and O.K. food that you will wait a LONG time to receive. Not worth the wait in my opinion.
Very delicious, but it takes a long time for your order to be cooked.
The food tastes good, however, they take a lot of time to prepare your order. The last two times I visited, I had to wait more than 30 minutes to receive my order.
Great food! Will definitely be returning!
Most authentic Chinese food in town. Lunch gets really busy with the to go box style lunches, so they were not able to make dinner menu items until after the rush is over. They are very generous with the lunch portions. I’d also recommend getting takeout. Lack of ac and ventilation inside makes it an unpleasant dining experience in the summer.
