Been here for nearly 2 hours, I got the peach margarita, it's super slow. All I got to eat was the Texas cheese fries, that took nearly 30 mins, and when the waitress came I was told I'm sorry it took so long don't know why. And then I've waited awhile to come back around cause I'm ready to go, so I got up and went to the bathroom, and I noticed the waitress with some other employees chilling in a booth by the bar area. And I'm literally still waiting to be helped. And only have a hour left till work :/ be the last time I come back. Drinks are great but waiting like this is rediculous!
While I typically enjoy On the Border, this visit was terrible. I was understanding when I was seated in a section for a waitress that was just taking orders of a huge party. I should have just moved to another section on my own. However, she couldn't keep up with the party much less me. Half and hour to get a drink, almost got my food first. Bad management, the rest of the servers should have jumped in to help.
Unprofessional and the staff here are incompetent! I came here for a simple order that I could have honestly made at the house and yet they gave me my order as if I asked for a DIY! Stay away ! If you want to good quality food and customer service I advise you to take your money somewhere else !

My normal visit is wonderful but 4/16/22 was definitely the worst, after standing an waiting for the longest and employees walking by continuously not even acknowledging my presence was absolutely terrible. Finally the bartender took my order for chips an salsa i mentioned my wait time and asked for a lil discount on my price he laughed and said 13.75$ like it meant nothing!! This is not OTB im used to by far!!!
Great customer service. Waitress was very attentive. Food was good but mostly recommend the guacamole it was extremely fresh and if chosen done infront of you.
We ate here over Christmas, and we had the best server imaginable! We were a table of 7 and he did an excellent job. He was friendly and always had a smile on his face and he was super busy but cared for us professionally. We frequent OTB and we love the food and service is always great. At this point in time, I would never leave a poor review for any restaurant because of the struggle they have with employment issues. Anyone who does lacks consideration for all our country has been through over the last 2 years. Blessings to all!
We stopped in for a little bite to hold us over for dinner. Ordered avocado fries, sampler appetizer and queso flameado. All were yummy. Joined their queso club so will definitely be back.
Had a craving for some good chips and salsa and were driving by this place on Texas Ave and renegades that their bagged chips are over of my faves so I was able to convince my SO to check it out. She was not disappointed. They had the melon margaritas on sale ($5!!). Needless to say, we came out VERY happy!! Drinks were delicious and well prepared, chips were crispy and warm and delicious as I remembered. Also decided to have the chorizo and cheese dip and that was also on point. Service was prompt and courteous, bathrooms were clean. Thank you!!!
Mediocre food. Very much not worth the cost. I admit they were quite busy, but service was slow. No tea refill. Free queso is a joke.
