A delicious place for any occasion. I’ve had both my Aggie Ring celebration and my graduation dinner here, and they have been so accommodating both times. The range of cuisine they have makes something available for most dietary restrictions. I’ve had the Japanese Wagyu Burger, the Teriyaki Chicken, and quite a few sushi rolls. They are one of the best quality Japanese restaurants in town, for sure. They also are what I think is one of the best value Asian restaurants in the college station area. They also have good fried ice cream. I would highly recommend for any occasion, they have lunch special prices as well. Is definitely one of my to go spots for Asian cuisine in college station.

We were warmly greeted when we walked in for supper. Sat promptly at a booth for 4 (2 kids and my SO and I). Our 4yo daughter was enthralled with watching the chefs make sushi and ask questions about how they make the rolls/what’s this meat a… typical 4 year old questioning... They were so kind to talk to her (and not get annoyed with her plethora of questions) and make her laugh while they worked - not ignoring her like other sushi chefs normally do.Our waiter was amazing. Young, knowledgeable, polite and kept our drinks full the entire meal. Meal was served warm and was exactly what we ordered. If you have never tried the moochi ice cream, you are missing out!Manager came by to check on us and was very entertaining and enthusiastic. Thankfully, we had a heads up that there would be a trivia event that night! It wasn’t too loud and there was plenty of fun to be had. Tables of friends joined in to play.Feels like such a great restaurant with fun for families and parties if friends alike. We will definitely being going back!!!So glad to see the new management is embracing The Naked Fish. It’s really turned around!

This is a very good sushi restaurant that is conveniently located close to campus. They mainly specialize in sushi, but also have a good selection of entrees, including bentos and even Kobe burgers (!) Some of their rolls are unique and original, all very fresh. Check out the Naked Fish roll - it's 2 different rolls on the same plate. The Chirashi Don is outstanding, a nice selection of sashimi that also comes with some tomago (worth noting since the sushi joint across the street does not have that) The ambiance isn't the best, as the restaurant is lit with florescent lighting, but at least you get a clear view of your food. Prices are reasonable and the wait staff is capable and friendly. There is a sushi bar if you want to get a closeup view of the prep and converse with the chef. It's relatively small and seems to be always packed, and for good reason. It's a real gem, don't pass it up if you get the chance.

Extensive and affordable menu, they have so many things to choose from that is hard to decide, my goal is to try everything ?, so far I have tried the Tiger rolls, ceviche and the best jalapeño poppers ?, place is small but neat, lots of parking spots, staff is friendly, you’ll feel welcome. Best place for sushi… oh and you need to try the mochi ice cream!!!! Will continue to visit this place until all menu is tried out ?

Originally I had called to place a to-go order while I was driving from Bryan and they asked if I could pay over the phone. I said ‘no’ (because I was driving). They said I had to then order online. I tried to place an order online and couldn’t figure it out. I called back and had my credit card information on hand and they put me on hold. I decided to just drive there after hanging up and when I arrived there were maybe two or three tables with customers in the entire restaurant. One guy was waiting, I sat down on the bench inside to wait and wasn’t even greeted. A young lady finally decided to make her way to the counter after another young man walked in and she asked for names on THEIR orders and completely bypassed me. (I was there before the second young man and I know that she had seen me come in) They both provided their names and then she looked at me and asked for mine. I explained that I had been trying to place a to go order and she took my order. She never gave me an approximate time that it would take to complete. I went back to wait in my car with a crabby & very hungry two year old and my roommate. Approximately 25 minutes later my roommate went inside and asked if the food was ready. The same young lady replied with ‘I don’t know. Who’s next?’ Finally the food was ready and she claimed that I needed to come back inside and sign for the food. The food was paid for. Finally the woman behind the sushi counter said it was fine to take it because it was already paid for. No soy sauce was included in the bag and I didn’t notice that until I had already made it home. I then had to go BACK OUT to H-E-B and purchase some. This was my FIRST time ordering from here and I definitely won’t be going to dine in. Katie D. was the name on the receipt.

Came in to pick up a togo order..I had tried to call it in but after calling 5 different times, to no avail, I went in person. The older woman at the front counter was too busy talking to a delivery driver about College Station amenities and activities than to help me. Several customers were piling up in the entry way. She ignored several of them and skipped them to an older gentleman. One was a younger black guy trying to pick up and togo order and she straight up ignored him until he tried to pick up his food. I had to get the assistance of the employee working BOH on togo orders. The hostes (who I was told was the new manager, was rude, belittling, and spent more time chit-chatting to staff than helping customers. The gal from the back ended up having to seat customers, as well as package and serve togo orders because the "manager" couldn't stay on task, take orders, or help anyone.

I like Naked Fish, but I think I need to get it to go from now on. The ginger waitress gave us the absolute worst service I have ever had and I eat out regularly. She left one of our food items in the kitchen because she “didn’t know what table it went to”, she never told the person working the bar that we ordered a drink, and every single part of our order was a mess. Our appetizers and drink came out long after we finished eating because of her incompetency. I would understand if orders were backed up, but she simply did not check to see if our orders were coming out. Never checked up on our table or asked us for refills. We were done eating for twenty minutes before we finally gave up and asked the other waiter to give us our bill. Overall, a 30 minute dinner turned into an hour, not because of how long the food took (the food actually came out in pretty good time, not including the things she forgot) but simply because of our waitress’ incompetence. Very good sushi but we have never experienced such bad service at a restaurant.

Great big menu with extensive variety of food!

Service was awesome. Amon was the bomb. Food was excellent, too.

This is my favorite affordable sushi place! You get so much food for a great price. The california rolls and philadelphia rolls are amazing. The price is unbeatable and the sushi is delicious always.
