I used to really enjoy this place but it definitely not the place that it used to be. I will not be back. Zero stars
We enjoyed coming here for lunch every time we are down here but today was a bit of a disappointment. Waitress never introduced herself, drink menu was never offered and when asked for one it took quite awhile to get it. Drinks refilled while glass was on the table spilling ice and drink all over. Decided what we wanted to drink and waited for a good 15 mins for her to come take the order. In the meantime our food was delivered and the gentleman that brought our food practically threw it on the table. Finally came to get our drink order which we'd decided not to have since we were almost done with our food. Then had to wait a good 20 mins for her to come over and see if we we're done and get our check. It was not busy at all and several employees just sitting in booths on the phone or just standing around. Today's lunch was a birthday lunch for my mom and today we were not impressed.
The food was awesome, the beer was cold, the service was perfect and the singing was great!!! My wife's birthday dinner was as enjoyable as I had hoped it would be!!!Thanks for a great evening!!!
First time at this Los Cucos and the last. Never eating here again. We came here for dinner and I ordered the same thing I always get. The Delicioso along with a margarita. The next day (even at the time of this writing) I’ve had sever GI pains and issues. I had to leave work early on top of all this. My girlfriend also had an upset stomach after trying some of the meat this morning. *4-30-22*It’s obviously tainted food as I’ve had the same thing at many different Los Cucos, all over southeast Texas. I will be filing a report with the Brazos County Health Department.
Very nice place. Really clean. Staff checks on you often. Delicious food!
Service was awesome. The server was knowledgeable of the menu and did not need to write anything down. The food was hot we did nott lack anything at our table. He brought a stack of napkins with out having to ask. Our servers name was Daniel. He is great.

It was very good tex-mex! The prickly pear margaritas was amazing!! Also the fried flour tortillas with the queso sooo good!!!
Drinks are trash and overpriced, save your money and go somewhere else. Wait staff is slow and constantly forgetting things. Los cocos used to be a good chain restaurant.
