Best tacos in town with homemade flour tortillas. The homemade salsa packs medium heat and is perfect to accompany any of their tacos. They also have excellent barbacoa, hardly any fat.
I can only speak to the breakfast tacos here, but they were outstanding -- hefty and full of flavor from the fillings to the amazing, fluffy flour tortillas. There are a wealth of components to choose from to build your own tacos, as well as numerous pre-designed options. Other pre-designed options are sometimes available than what are on the menu; sometimes specials that aren't yet written up, and some seemingly part of an unofficial secret menu (sigh...). The staff is friendly and efficient, and the prices are excellent. Call-ahead is available, with inside pickup or the drive thru window. (The latter was smooth and efficient, but it was a surprise to me at a restaurant connected to a gas station.) I haven't gone inside, but there's a smallish covered patio with a few tables just outside the door. I would definitely return for the breakfast tacos, and at some point to try other things from their good-sized menu.

If I could I'd rate it a 10. Food is delicious best fajita taco I ever had. Tortillas are sooooo good. Carne guisada also delicious! Recommend to everyone.
**Drive Thru**The menu prices are inconsistent with what I am billed. I ordered 2 breakfast tacos and la cart cheese quesadilla and my total was 20 dollars. Just seems a little outrageous on the pricing. I have in the past ordered the same 2 breakfast tacos with different totals at different times ( within the same month) Honestly until today I have stopped visiting this location because I feel that I have been overcharged. Good Food, just wished I wasn't getting messed over on the pricing.
In a world of takeout/drive thru experiences (no stranger here) different elements offer variables to ponder. La Familia is one of my favorite restaurants in town. The owners are amazing community minded people that strive for the highest quality of food and service. With that said nothing is perfect, and I say this because mother nature can influence the outcome... I am envious of the staff's reaction on a particular occasion. The wind whipped two dollar bills (change back to me) airborne during our exchange of hands on a recent visit. I wish I could have laughed as the staff person did but my reaction was of course, one of shock. On a brighter note, she did ask if I wanted her to pick it up. Since this was a particularly busy day and not wanting to delay the cars behind me, I declined. Maybe it was destiny for those dollar bills to fly freely in the wind for someone else to find. Moral- laughter is an emotional release, one too often taken for granted (especially during our new normal world).
Great place. Consistently quality TexMex food. Pork Verde is my favorite, a ton of flavor with a spicy kick.
I love their Migas taco and Mexican potato taco. Staff always has a smile when you go through the drive thru to order.
