Grub Burger Bar was awesome. Their burgers are big and cooked perfectly and whatever sauce they put on there is the bomb. The bacon strips they use are thick and not rubbery and the fries and sweet potato fries are on point. I'm pretty picky about my soda when I drink it and their fountain Dr. Pepper was also good, I like extra carbonation and it comes out cold. They have a big glass wall that has leads out to patio seating as well that's pretty cool. If your there in the evening don't sit facing the door because the sun shines right in your eyes as it sets. I don't know if it was the manager or the owner or who it was that came around and talked to us and hooked us up with whatever we needed but I appreciate that and he was a really cool dude. We will be back!
Average. Service was adequate. Food portion is very small on side orders which are separate and over priced. We ordered a combo (add a side and a drink for $4.69) but we still charged the individual prices for a drink and fries which was over $1 more total. Tables are small and still close together. Burgers were over cooked as well. Dont think we will go back.
Dawn is the best! Her staff is well trained and attentive. Everyone is very friendly. The food is good. Love the layout of restaurant. The bar is great. I come into College Station a couple of times a month. A stop at Grub Burger is a must!
We ate here the other night but we did like was the burgers. What we didn't like was the cafeteria style service where you are expected to go to the cash register not knowing what you want just yet and stand there in line. Looking up at the menu and trying to decide what to order while people behind you are probably in a hurry. It was a Monday night and the place was virtually empty but we enjoyed our food. Their burgers were tasty. Not cheap. Don't know whether we'd come back again.
Pretty good. Gluten free options but the gluten free bun was not too hot.
The food was pretty good: the burger patty had a nice carmelization to the outside but the inside was still juicy and their fries were crispy with just the right amount of salt. Their holiday drinks sounded really good but I wasn't able to try one. I would definitely stop by again if I'm in the area.
Very good burgers here came with my wife and my friend to get dinner and I was very happy I came it was super delicious the Cadillac burger was to die for. A nice spot to come and Hange out after you have a good burger off the menu !! Keep up the good work guys and Merry Christmas ⛄⛄
One of the best burgers I've had in years. It is so easy to tell that ingredients are a priority at this location. The buns looked very good, everything was fresh. The meat had amazing flavor, I'm just so impressed with the taste of every item I had. Look forward to visiting soon!
First time ever being to Grub, sat at the bar. Comfortable seats, nice big TVs in front of you with a urban atmosphere. I ordered the Mushroom Burger with fries and brussel sprouts and everything tasted fantastic. The bartender Riley was a very polite and welcoming and she knows how to keep a great conversation, she poured me two excellent Lagunitas draft. Very cold beer. Dawn welcomed me as a first timer which I've never experienced before. I was able to try a sample of the onion rings which were also amazing. That was very much appreciated. Whenever I come back through town for work I'll definitely come back to the Grub. Thanks again to the staff, Riley and Dawn.
Location is great, the atmosphere is very modern eclectic. Staff is friendly and helpful. Full bar is a great addition for a burger joint. My gripe if anything would be there are no combos, everything is separate. I had the Front Porch Burger, medium done, it was cooked properly and juicy. However it really had no seasoning. Even Salt and Pepper would kick up flavor a lot. I would recommend but it would not be a usual visit for me personally.
