It was our first time at this location (previously went to one near A&M) and didn’t realize this was the original. Food was really good and the service was excellent. A man who I assume is the owner also came by the tables to check in on customers and cleared our table. Will return again!

I cannot complaya out C&J BBQ. The smell that radiates from this place let's me know right then and there I'm about to enjoy EVERYTHING!I normally get the same thing: a slab or 2 of ribs, 2 lbs of links, 2 lbs of smoked turkey. Their porkchops are a bit thick for me, so I usually chop them up and make stir-fry or chopped pork sandwiches at home.I love the peach cobbler....not too sweet, not too tangy. It's just right!Again, who can complain about a BBQ joint that smells the way C&J do!?

Normally love this place but today when I went and ordered a rib plate they gave me 3 very small and dry end piece ribs. Last time I was in they gave me 5 center cut ribs. It wasn’t because they were running out either they had more. In what world is 3 pitiful ribs and a side of Mac n cheese and mashed potatoes worth almost $14?!

We were in town for work and googled best burnt ends and C&j 's came up and highly recommended. Well, the burnt ends were horrible! Dry! The brisket was average ( if you're ever near Baton Rouge you need to try Couyon's) but the plate was plenty of food to fill up on. Friendly staff.

Baked potato was barely warm. Not even hot enough to melt butter and cheese. I asked them to heat it in microwave. The nice young lady said it was against policy but would be glad to make me another. I asked if they could heat the potato. The young man making my potato said "sure" in a very sarcastic tone of voice. I said I could go down the road to get something else. They put butter and cheese under the chipped beef. And did not hear the potato. It barely melted the butter and cheese. I doubt we will go back.

The food is great. The customer service sucks. I used to frequent this one all the time but and I really loved going there because the food and customer service was remarkable.

Been in texas for a year and half and this is the best bbq hands down! Only downside is they are not in houston yet. Meats are juicey and have a nice smokey favor.

This is one of my favorite spots in all of Texas to eat BBQ...food is always great and the service is fantastic. We come up from Houston 3 or more times a year.

No words to describe how special and delicious is the food over there! I went for my birthday with a friend and I just fell in love with the meats and all the side dishes they offer. For sure I will come back! I really loved!!!

The brisket was delicious! Tender, juicy and melted in my mouth! The jalapeño cheese sausage was also very good. I highly recommend this place and I will be back for more!
