Great, scratch kolaches using the old style heavy butter recipes. The sausage pastries had a nice pronounced yeast flavor which pairs perfectly with the sausage and cheese. Yum.
Ever since the last mom and pop bakery closed in my hometown I’ve been on the hunt for good quality kolaches. Three years later I finally found them. I tried both the fruit and the pig and all were great. To make it even better, all the kolaches are pretty big and priced well.
This place is great! Keeping the art of real Kolache alive while still catering to those of us who like sausage rolls too.
Kolaches are delicious—IF you can get them! Third time to stop on my way from Houston to Waco, third time they have zero food left with an hour remaining to be open. Super frustrating… dismayed to say I have to return to Starbucks as my go-to stop. :(

Better than Czech Stop…hands down!! You’re missing out of you having tried Bubbies yet. That’s saying a lot from someone who’s traveled for years visiting so many bakery shops. I’ll be bringing Bubbies instead to customers and family events from now on!!
The best kolache and pig I've ever had. The bread on the pig tastes most definitely homemade and has so much flavor. The cream cheese kolache was heaven! We will definitely be going back!
This is really sharp coffee shop. Great hours. Early opening is great for early risers.
