I don't understand the 4 and 5 star reviews. The food was HORRIBLE. Chole were tasteless, poori (not bhatura) reeked of bad oil. Chat? I don't thing any Indian joint in Austin knows how to make chat. It was terrible. Overall Indian food sucks in Austin and it's suburbs. This was my last attempt to find a good Indian joint and it failed. I will stick to tacos.
Best Chole Bhature I had in recent times ??
Sir, you can' t expect a customer to wait for over 45 minutes for just 2 tea. This is not professional. You lost a customer. Thank you.Editing my response after looking at owner's reply. Sir, reading your response it appears it was my mistake that I didn't agree to wait when you did the best from your end. Unfortunately that is not correct. At the time when I placed my order (2 tea) you never told me that you are facing problems in kitchen and due to that the order will get delayed, if you would have informed me I would have taken a decision then itself. I was expecting that I will get the tea in 10-15 minutes at max since I didn't order anything else and that's generally the time it takes to get the tea done even when it is not ready at the time of placing the order. My kids were waiting to go to park and it already started to get dark by then. Also, when I waited for 40 minutes (yes not 30 minutes as you mentioned in your response) and didn't get any response from you I walked to you to check if it is going to take longer and that is when you informed me that you were facing issues with your induction stove (yes you didn't tell me this at the time of order) and you said you can still give it to me in little more time. I waited for another 5-7 minutes and finally when I still didn't got my order done I again walked to you and asked you to cancel my order. I would have been happy if you would have simply accepted the mistake and mentioned that in your response and I could have given another chance as I understand we all face issues at times but you chose to put incorrect facts instead. I am truly disappointed with your response sir. But I wish you the best. Thank you.
Love Vittle vibes for the delicious, clean, and refreshing take on Indian food. One of my favorite places in Austin for Indian, Vegan/Vegetarian food items. Lots of favorites and amazing taste and good quantity as well. Really nice food and great service by the owners. Please do give Vittle vibes a try and you will not regret it. Many thanks to this food truck for serving great food. Our favorites are loaded Samosa chat, chole batura etc.
We ordered masala puri and kulfi. They were authentic and delicious. The couple who run the food truck were hospitable and the service was quick.
