OG Austinite here! I grew up on Thundercloud and still am a big fan! Austin has changed but this thundercloud remains consistent!I frequent this location often and still get the consistent taste. All of their employees are awesome and friendly. Luke has been around for years and makes amazing subs with great service.Keep it up, Thundy!
I really love thundercloud. The sandwiches are great, the portions are great, the soups are great, the prices are reasonable, and the staff is friendly and expedient.Whenever I drive by this location, memories of previous meals fill my head and my mouth begins to water a bit. Sometimes I just have to go in and grab a sandwich! :)

Disrespectful People, rude, mean, very arrogant. They do that intentionally. And they don’t have any problem with that. That told me!
They have best subs, they don't toast but its good, you don't feel cold but their subs are tasteful, you should definitely try their subs.
ThunderCloud makes the best bang for your buck sandwiches in Austin! It's shocking how good they are without heating them up. The classic club is always packed full of meat and cheese. Be sure to add thunder sauce because it gives each sandwich that extra kick to put it over the top. Then again, these sandwiches are there already.
Yummy like I remember! Roast beef w/avacado, provolone & wheat. And I tried their potato salad! It was wonderful ♥️♥️♥️

Ok subs, nothing special, nothing bad. Had 2 sandwiches to go. I suggest eating them soon after ordering as the sauces make the bread soggy quickly. Sorry I did not find these much different than Subway. Great service.
I had a buy one get one coupon so I ordered an American Classic and a NY Italian. They were very similar and both were good. Nothing amazing but nothing bad. The young man who waited on me was great having a nice conversation all the while he was assembling our sandwiches and making sure we got it made like we wanted. The whole wheat buns were fresh and the ingredients and sauce was also good. One word of caution if you have them add the thunder sauce and/or other sauces you may want to eat them right away. We had our sandwiches made to go and ate them within about 1/2 hour but they were already starting to get a little soggy from the sauces. The meats were cut very thin but that is typical from all the sub sandwich places. One special nice touch was the young guy wrapped one sandwich right side out and one inside out so we could immediately identify which sandwich was which. Very handy and much appreciated by my wife and me. All in all the staff really makes this place stand out.
