this location is a joke!!! how they stay open is beyond me!! They lie to you about the ingredients and if you ask for information they don't tell you the truth of what their plates consist of especially if you order your food to go! I would NEVER eat in this restaurant as it is very dirty, the front end management do not speak English, they are rude, and over charge for everything!!! I am done! I will no longer go to this location in Cedar Park to order the soups as they do not have the ingredients that they list and are overpriced.!!When I ask to speak to management, their response is 'they are in Mexico" or "they are not there at the store" or they do not share how to reach the main office to complain for the quality of service and food!
It is definitely AUTHENTIC! It's got that flavor you crave from momma's cooking and came out at a very respectable time. The game was on the TV, music was going and I quickly had a drink in my hand.Shortly after sitting down I had some chips and salsa served at my table with my drink. I was a little skeptical from my first visit but everything i had was a breath of fresh air, everything was tasty and cooked perfectly. I started out with a Tostada de Ceviche and an Agua de Tamarindo. That tostada tasted really fresh and like a lot of care went into it. Ceviche is a simple dish but very easy to mess up, it definitely all came together perfectly. I didn't need to add anything other than the wedge of lime that it came with.Seeing how surprised I was by the tostada. I decided to change course from the original idea to get some tacos. I decided to try their specialty, the Carnitas Plate. It was perfect. I honestly could have shared this with a second person and still have been happy. The carnitas were juicy and flavorful. The beans and rice were a great compliment to that rich flavor from the carnitas. When served it comes with this green salsa that you can add or leave out I say definitely add it to some. It definitely transforms the flavor to a whole new dish. The tortillas were another surprise. They were so soft and fresh. They just melted in your mouth. I really was very grateful for that. Sometimes they get left as an afterthought and can be a real disappointment.I'd had so much already but I really wanted to taste more dishes. So I took the rest of the Carnitas home and decided to try out the original idea. I ordered the Campechano Taco (on top) and the Pastor Taco (below). Great choices! I don't think you can really go wrong with anything here.It took me a long time to come back and give this place a second try. The service was the issue the first time and that issue seems to be resolved now. I'm very excited to come back to try out more items in the future! Especially some of those soups!!If you haven't given them a try definitely consider them for your next Mexican food craving. If you were disappointed like I was, then maybe give them a second chance. I definitely think a lot has changed.
HORRIBLE DRIVE THRU SERVICE. I got there at 7:00 am. I was the only car in line. I Hit the service button that had its casing missing from it. I did not get a response till 20 minutes later. I asked the lady if the button was broken, she said it works but i was busy. They literally had three staff members and six guest already sitting down eating. So i didn't order because i knew it would take 20 more minutes for me to receive it. I truly don't mind waiting for good food but someone could have at least acknowledge someone when the pull up to the drive thru. This place will probably be going out of business soon if they don't fix their service.
Quality is going down . Ordered tortas it's a hit or miss. Not enuff Avocado souor cream was off and bread is never toasted .
Call me crazy, but I believe tortilla soup is supposed to have some chicken in it. This was literally tortillas in broth. Talk about choking on cheese, too. There was so much cheese that I couldn’t even separate the tortillas from it. And chewy AF too. What a joke! Only giving the single star because it was at least hot broth.
Really it was nothing different or special when it comes to Mexican cuisine...just the same old standard menu. The Mexican fruit fountain drinks are good. I would definitely recommend trying one.
Run deliveries and this place takes much to long to get orders ready for delivery consistently lose money taking a delivery. Usually reject pickups from here because when you think you can get a quick delivery with only one or two items you are always disappointed in the ridiculous amount of time it takes to get your delivery can then
Simple restaurant, but good food.I tried the migas without jalapeños, very good. And the tapatia breakfast, was ok.Staff friendly.
Like to come and eat at this restaurant, they have 4 different location here. I like there menudo and 2 of the 4 locations put feet in it so I enjoy coming and eating here. But today when I ordered my menudo it came with very little meat in it, I know times are hard but when they charge $9.99 for a bow and 3.25 for a 16oz cup of flavor water I think they should b able to put more then just 15 pieces of meat on the plate.
I have only dined here once, and it was 2-3 years ago. Service was terrible! Frankly, I think it was because I wasn't of Latin descent. Food was also disappointing. Maybe it was too "authentic" for me because they have a LOT of customers of Mexican descent, so I must be missing something. Lastly, it wasn't very clean.. All I can say is that isn't for me.
