Cold food, not the one I typically go to but I decided to try a different one since I was in the area. The only good thing I can say without being rude is to try the whiskey pecan pie. It was delicious.
picked up food for tonight and it was terrible. we got food from here about a week ago and it wasn't good and we figured to give it one more try. Big mistake as tonight's food somehow was even worse. Lesson learned and will not waste my money again.
This place is sooo delicious! Don’t sleep on their specials they are always great (smoked chicken and dumplings). The wings are the best I’ve probably ever had. Potato salad, sausages and brisket are amazing. I can’t wait to try more of their options. I wish the chicken fried steak special was available everyday.
I placed an online order on Christmas Eve to pick up some brisket and sausage for around 6pm. The online order went through and I even got confirmation confirming the order. So I get to this restaurant around the time I was supposed to pick it up and turns out that they didn’t have my order. Nothing. No meat was reserved for me at all, even though I placed an online order (assuming that there would be an order for me to pickup). No one from the restaurant called to at least give us a heads up that they wouldn’t be able to fulfill our order and maybe try a different location. Nothing. Same thing happens to another customer who walked in right behind me. All they could do is tell us to drive to Liberty Hill, which isn’t far from Cedar Park. Thank goodness we were able to find some meat from Smokey Mo’s in Leander but wasn’t expecting this to happen. If there would’ve been a better way of communicating with us, I probably wouldn’t have been disappointed on how management acted that night.
Ate breakfast with Wife and Granddaughter. Had the biscuits and gravy, excellent, also a couple breakfast burritos. For price it was hard to beat. Would defiantly go again.
This is an amazing BBQ spot. Not only do they have amazing food but the staff is super friendly. I can’t recommend them enough. Just go and thank me later.
Asked for lean brisket. Every piece was covered in fat. I honestly had to throw it all away. Ordered pick up and everything was smashed and rolled up super tight. Thought there would be condiments in the bag but there wasn't.
I have been going to Smokey Mo's for many years. Now for some reason the prices went way up but the quality went way down. I purchased the family pack for 3 to 4 people.The brisket was not only flavorless but it was extremely tough. It would have been inedible if we hadn't been so hungry. It used to be nice and tender. That was my second bad experience with them. I definitely wouldn't go for a third time.

I started off pleasantly suprised with this place, but, over time, it has begun to disappoint. Last time ordering via DoorDash, they gave me 3 pieces of pure fat when I ordered "Lean Brisket." I was right next door today, so I decided to give them another chance. I ordered the 2 meat place to go (chopped brisket and sausage) and upon arriving home, I only had received the chopped brisket. Upon calling, I was told that I would get "hooked up" and I'd get a call back from the manager. Never happened.
