To be honest, I was not expecting SUCH good food. I know Tex Mex is always good, but this was some of the freshest food that had great balance in flavor. Regrettably, I don’t remember the name of our server, but he was a tall younger guy with sandy blonde hair and he was very attentive and sweet! I had the Al pastor tacos, and they were INCREDIBLE. The street corn was perfectly roasted, and nice and hot!I’ll be coming back over and over, this was such a nice experience!
This is one of my favorite restaurants in Cedar Park, if not the whole Austin area, because of the quality of service and food. Our waitress this time - a very pretty young lady with pink hair and sparkly makeup - was an absolute gem. She memorized our whole order (without writing anything… for a table of 5… I was impressed!) and the food came out perfect, fresh, piping hot. The salsa and queso can’t be beat. Highly recommend!
The food and service were excellent! The atmosphere is nice, but the acoustics in the large dining room is poor. Also, management did nothing to quiet down a table of 8 to 10 year old girls who were running around their table playing chase and screaming and shouting extremely loudly the entire time they were there¹. Their mothers sat together at the opposite end of the table and never once said or did anything to settle down the little girls. We were disappointed that management did not address this with the mothers. Other diners, including us, were trying to enjoy our delicious meals but were unable to even hear each other over the screaming. Management should have stepped up and dealt with the issue.
Fresh, delicious, and well labeled for gluten free and vegetarian. Quality alcohol in drinks.
I went to this restaurant at 4:30 on 3/8. i met a friend there for a few beers so we sat at the bar. It took us 10min to get served and the restaurant was empty. I drink tequila on the rocks, the lady serving us didn't use a jigger to measure and poured less then an ounce so i ordered a double. It seemed that they were short pouring on purpose. I made a comment to her that it seemed a little short, she did nothing about it. Of course when i got the bill she charged me for every drop. Service is very slow, the customer is not a priority and the drinks are not worth the money.Would not recommend this place.
Food was really good. Especially the al pastor tacos. Frozen margaritas were okay. Not strong but good fruit base. Service was okay. Would recommend.
I didn't think I liked Serranos, so we hadn't visited this one in the 4 years we've lived in Leander. Now, we've picked up togo from here three times in past two weeks. The food is excellent.
Average food...lunch plate about 12 w tea..ok..salsa is always good .had to ask for salt n pepper got little packets..service was good..
This is one of our best go-to Mexican restaurants in Cedar Park. Their food is really good Tex-Mex style and their margaritas are excellent. However, they seem to be suffering from the severe employment crisis unfolding currently in Central Texas since the staff seems to turn over quite frequently and doesn’t seemed well trained, but that’s happening everywhere. So be patient with the new employees.
I visited for lunch and sat at the bar. Plenty of seats and service was FAST. The bartender was very friendly and obviously having a good time. So refreshing after seeing restaurant after restaurant have limited staff and bad attitudes. Food came out hot and was exactly what I wanted. My companion made the comment that we should return at least once a week. I agree! I did a custom lunch combo and splurged on a margarita seeing it was a Friday. Do not hesitate to visit this branch of Serrano's. Excellent!
