We came here after giving up on Texican Cafe- and overall we are glad we did. The drinks were pretty good, and the food was very tasty. Our server was great. However- the order of guacamole was a bit disappointing because half of it was filler and not avocado. A tricky way to charge a lot for iceberg lettuce! That knocked off an entire star for me.
I give this place three stars based on the one experience I had. I usually get beef fajitas when I go to a Tex Mex place I'd never been to before because it's usually a pretty consistent meal, hard to mess up. This beef was so salty and so dry I almost considered complaining, and I never complain when I go out to eat. It takes a lot. But these fajitas were super salty and bad. The sides were good, Mexican street corn was delicious. The margarita was pretty good. The grilled veggie skewer was ok. Service was not great. I probably would not come back based on my first experience.
Walked in and out. I saw sign on door said closes at 4PM. Is was 3:45PM. I went in and the host said just so you know we close in 10 minutes. In other words…. I left. I told another couple walking in what they said. They left, too.
Fresh tortilla chips. Mild salsa. Chicken enchiladas had mild green salsa. The refried beans were flavorful. The rice was slightly undercooked and needed bit more flavor.
