Tried Chicken w/ Garlic sauce from the lunch menu. The food was ready ahead of time, was hot (temperature wise), and fried rice was included in the already low price!!!!While I didnt eat inside, the restaurant seemed clean and had a play corner for the little ones (train table, etc)One negative was that their garlic sauce was a bit on the sweet side, but perhaps that's not my palette preference.
I normally don’t post reviews like this but wanted to write this review so the owners can make improvements. This has by far been the worst Thai food I have ever had in the greater Austin area.It makes sense that you won’t find the best Asian food in cedar park, but I don’t understand how someone can botch such simple dishes such as flat rice noodles or Thai curry.1. The flat rice noodle dish had poor flavoring as it it tasted more like candy rather than a savory dish. Also the noodles were so over cooked that they were all stuck together. Maybe it would be wise to learn how other restaurants are making theirs.2. Thai curry was probably worse than the flat rice noodles. It tasted more like coconut milk with more sugar. You can’t taste the curry at all. Not to forget how bad the steamed rice was. If Costco or HEB had instant Thai curry, it would taste better than this.Overall this was such a poor experience. Again, I don’t mean to slam. I just hope there are improvements. If the owners cared, they’d make changes rather than ignore this. Charging the steep prices for the worst experience in greater Austin is not acceptable even if you are located in the suburbs.
Pho is meh, place is kinda dirty looking, and more importantly its impossible to get decent service. On multiple occasions I have walked in, sat in a mostly empty restaurant with like 2 other tables only to have the staff walk past me for about 15 min without acknowledging or even bringing drinks. Sunflower is right down 183 off Parmer . Do yourself a favor and dont even bother with this place.
I love the Kim Phung in Austin, so I wanted to go to this location in Cedar Park. Definitely wasn’t as crowded as the Austin location and it was much larger. The food was exactly the same, delicious! Meant too take a photo of the food, but it was gone fast. We had spring rolls and vermicelli bowls, which were awesome. The waiter was friendly and I love it when you’re greeted first thing. Service was fast, food was just as delicious. One difference is that you don’t order at the counter like you do at the Austin location. If you live in Cedar Park, you need to go!
Do NOT dine here. It is so filthy in this place!!! Food on the floor, and on the walls. My daughter was so disgusted that she didn't even want to put her shoes on the floor. The food was so greasy that you couldn't eat it. Dripping with grease. It was our first time, and we will NOT be returning. The only thing I can say that was decent was the egg rolls. Not worth $55...that's for sure!!!
I have never had a bad meal from here. They are a hidden secret. The food has always been good. I have dined in and taken to go. The food is plentiful and more than enough. Even with the higher prices, the food remains the same and good. The staff is friendly.
Cleanliness - ZEROThis is not a restaurant for a good PhoToo bad ? to review.
Good was horrific. Had to return under cooked food. Then owner wanted to argue about the food. Place is also falling apart. I think health department should take a look again.
A great family owned business that has fantastic food. We've been here about 10 times and everything we order has always been hot, fresh and made perfect. They are always extremely friendly with great service. I highly recommend trying this place at least once. The food is great and the prices are very reasonable. It's great to see a local family owned business being run so well. I love supporting local family owned businesses and highly recommend you giving them a try.
Ordered through door dash. Got hot and sour soup and the combo vegetable with steamed rice. The hot and sour soup… I don’t even know what it was. It truly just tasted like vegetable oil. I didn’t even get half of one spoon down. The combo was super sweet, no flavor and the veggies were cooked to death. It was all a major disappointment.
