Nothing terrible but they were randomly closed on us even though we ordered and paid online. I understand everyone is short staffed these days, but it's quite inconvenient to drive a ways to pick up your food and find out the restaurant is closed. I do appreciate their attempts to be open more hours but achievable staffing and service is important so customers aren't disappointed.
Multiple people waiting in the front area for someone to come and greet them and or seat them or even just address them. Only about three sets of customers sitting in the dining area with plenty of seating for the customers waiting. As we approached the door a family came out, man and woman with three triplet girls age about 1 or 2, who then explained that they had been waiting for thirty minutes and no one had come to the front (which might I add is a long time to wait with three triplets.)As they were getting in their car, we glanced inside the door to ascertain the situation as we were hungry and tired from a concert that evening and didn’t feel like waiting very long. The remaining waiting customers that hadn’t left were apparently upset, judging by their body language and one guy aggressively pointing at the guest book seating chart the hostess uses, with a heated discussion at the counter with the hostess. We did not eat there that night much less even walk into the restaurant and went and got a burger and fries down the road. Not sure if this specific location is loosing business on the weekend nights, but I can think of a few reasons why.
We came from 8-930 and we were served by a very soft spoken, yet very nice waitress who went above and beyond in my opinion to make sure the dining my friend and I had was excellent. I didn't have cash so I asked her if I could send her a tip through venmo which she politely declined. I didn't get here name unfortunately but she brings the definition to customer service. The only reason why I gave this review 3 stars was because she was working by herself with no help i mean who does that!
Its mothers day and i expect a wait. I did online order that was to be ready at 8:48am and its 10:08am when i finally walked out! Thats a bit more then a little late! Many people whonwere dine in had come in sat diwn ate and left! Some even said to me youre still here??? Awful! Manager wouldnt even come out to face all of us waiting! What an absolute joke!
No greeter as we walked in...waited about 25 minutes before being acknowledged...restaurant is dirty... floors, tables, chairs etc...the manager doesn't seem to care for this restaurant...never coming here again!!! Poor service, poor presentation of restaurant!!!
Only two employees in the whole restaurant. Order curbside waited 20 minutes outside before going in to find there was only one waiter. And my food was not ready because they were out of what I ordered. Asked for a refund which I couldn’t get because there was no manager. Had to order something else and wait an additional 15 minutes for food. Go elsewhere they should close this location if there are no employees working here. Pancakes also appeared like the grill needed to be cleaned.
So me and my family went in there this evening and they had 2 other tables we waited over 20 min on menus and drinks and then another 40 min before we decided to leave due to the extremely poor service from all the wait staff there one Mexican and one white girl . THE MEXICAN Girl was very rude and ZERO customer service skills from her no name nothing on the initial visit to our table. We got there at 7pm and we left at 750 no food no refills nothing dirty glass cups and also I had to sweep under the table ..Silverware was gross as well stuff stuck too it .. Please I advise anyone who goes here maybe the morning is better but the evening service was HORRIBLE!!!!My wife is a manager in the food industry + we all know staffing issues are bad in Austin but this was unacceptable!!!!
It's IHOP, for which I actually have a soft spot after many years on night-shift.This rating is for daytime IHOP. (Nighttime IHOP is generally not as busy and is therefore easier for the kitchen staff to give proper attention to the order.)The bacon was good.The pancakes were good.The eggs, inedible due to the whites being undercooked. Yes, runny whites served up. I asked for the eggs to be medium, which is my standard request so they will arrive at least over easy. Heck, I'm OK if they arrive well done. But, I'm not OK with the risk of salmonella.I pointed this out to our server.The server later reported back that the cook was new on eggs.In the end, I was charged for a 2x2x2 when I only got an edible 2x2... ?The other four items were great!
First time trying this IHOP location. I love IHOP pancakes because I can't make it the same way at home. IHOP is known for their pancakes, but these are the worst pancakes I have ever had. The top and bottom thin skins completely fell apart because the pancakes were completely hollow inside. The sausages, bacon, and eggs were good, so I added one star to the reviews. But, I really came for the pancakes and was very disappointed. You would think that National Pancake Day is the time to show off how good the pancakes are. Not the case with this location. The owner probably could care less about helping out to run this place to make sure the pancakes are to par. He/she also hired a kid who didnt greet us, but starts off by sharing his problems/woes in life. The place wasn't busy either.
My husband and I went to Ihop for the first time since before the pandemic. First of all, our waitress (the only one)(red headed one) was very efficient and we have no complaints about her. When we got the food, it was good. But before the food came, I had gone to the washroom. What a filthy mess! Everything was dirty or wet. No soap. By their schedule saying last time it was cleaned, it was over week ago. By the time I got back to the table, the food had come and my husband was eating. The food was decent enough, but I kept wondering how dirty the kitchen was. Sorry we didn't leave before eating. The restaurant itself was dirty;floors,etc
