I love Gangnam Zip! The food is delicious!! Easy parking, wheelchair accessible. Friendly wait staff and nice atmosphere, peaceful, with some awesome K-pop playing on a big screen - loud enough to be heard but not intrusive. My grandkids love it! My go to dishes are the fried chicken and the donkatsu Ramen. I go here as often as I can, great choice for Korean food!
Was awesome this time around. We stopped by when they first opened but was ok. This time the food was perfect. There starting to show promise and seeing it behind the counter as well as in the dinning area. We really like the display with them showing k pop bands like BTS, Twice, TXT, hyuna and many others. One thing they could do also if there going to have more than one display is they can show a live cam of Seoul or around the area. I watch different live cams of Seoul while I’m working and it’s so awesome to see it and feels like your there. Or they can also show some ASMR walks around the city so folks who don’t really know what Seoul is about can have a good idea.Overall food was incredible can’t wait to stop on by next time. Keep it up!!! ??
OK not great. Bit over priced. Suffered runs 2 days. Just say Ramin 512 or chef B lakeline whitestone.
Reading the reviews I had high expectations, but the food didn't blew me away and felt more americanized. I might be being a bit too harsh due to the other reviews so I might try again later. (Still good just not amazing) 8/10
We enjoyed the spicy pork bulgogi in a Zip Gangnam Plate. The house salad dressing is fantastic! We ordered a small side of Kimchi, and it was the very best (and an incredible value at $6 for more than two people could eat) restaurant Kimchi I have ever eaten. The service was friendly, the soup was hot on this cold day, and we'll definitely be back!
I don’t know if it is because I heard the microwave going while I waited for my food, but it tasted like everything I had was microwaved.I got, and was disappointed in, the zip bulgogi. I’m not sure why this place has been rated so high, maybe bad timing in my part? The bulgogi looked surprisingly dry, but the bottom of the dish had plenty of grease. The noodles were dry. The rice was dry. Overall, it tasted like something that was sitting out for a little and they microwaved once I ordered it, which would’ve explained what I heard as I waited in the empty restaurant.Definitely not worth $16+
Our three plates are very delicious!! We will come back often!
Healthy food, clean restaurant. Closed on Sunday and Monday
The ramen is surprisingly good. Probably one of then best in Austin. I especially like their Chasu, feels like they grill it before serving it.
Food is delicious and looks beautiful in the large serving dish. Restaurant is pretty too. Very clean and new, lots of windows as its on corner of the strip-mall across from Walmart. Their Korean fried chicken is also to die for. I ordered this instead because I'm dieting and its yummy with their red house sauce, it doesn't feel like diet food though there are lots of fresh veggies in this dish.
