I switched from chipotle to freebies because they made fantastic food. I don't know what happened at this location but I literally had to ask for extra rice, beans, Pico, cheese literally everything I had to ask for extra because they barely put anything on it.If you want to pay $25 for two burrito bowls made for toddlers than go here otherwise you're better of picking a different spot to eat. Would not recommend
I love the food but can you PLEASE label the burritos, we have to bite into each other’s burritos to find out which is which. Always taste good, great service, clean, just can’t stand that the burritos aren’t labeled.
I expect more from Freebirds. This trip definitely did not meet our expectations.We ordered nachos, they started with chips, beans, protein.....and then informed us they are out of queso and it would be 20 minutes to have more ready. We're easy peasy so we switched our order to a bowl and a burrito. Had to wait on chicken, then when we get home(a literal 5 minute drive) we discover that the burrito fillings are cold, not cool, not like warm, but cold. The bowl ingredient weren't any better, except for the chicken....Come on Freebirds, we've grown to expect better from you.
Just got finished with a Spartan Race in Burnet and on the way home we stopped at this Freebirss location. Told the gentleman behind the counter I wanted a monster vegan burrito and to make it how he Would make it for himself. OMG delicious! Thank you so much that definitely hit the spot. Everyone behind the counter was awesome, thank you for ending the weekend on a great note! A+ for this location!!!!
Very disappointed in the deception here by Freebirds. The signage would suggest you pick how you want your entree and what meat/vegan option- thats it. Seems simple until you check out and your paying 6 bucks more for 2 entrees than what they are priced at on the menu! There is 0 mention anywhere about any of the add ins being an upcharge - ZERO! And of course no employee who askes if you would like this or that mentions the upcharge either. Its bait and switch at its finest.
I took my son to Freebirds at Cedar Park, we both got the Freebird Burito (regular size) which I believe was $7.59 each, however when we got to the cashier the charge was $15.00 each. No where on the signage was there anything about upcharges, only that the Freebird Burito was $7.59. When we saw $30.00 for two measly small buritos we walked out without purchasing. No where did there was any upcharge for anything, and why did they tell us while we were ordering there was this amount or that amount for additional ingredients? We have sworn off Freebirds and my family will never ever go back.
I love Freebirds! But! I don’t know what it is about this specific location, but it has been a rare occasion that my takeout orders are correct. Which is frustrating considering I don’t want to have to break open and dissect my burrito in the parking lot. I eat plant based so I enjoy the options (where’d the beyond beef go though??). I continue to order from here, hoping for the best. Unfortunately it seems almost every time there are ingredients missing or something extra in my food that I didn’t ask for. When I order sauce on the side the majority of the time it is put in the food. Also, portions seem to fluctuate.
Normally everything is great here but I don't know what happened this particular night. Maybe was the fact that the whole crew was new? Maybe they just weren't sure of themselves? I don't know what the problem was but they didn't really seem to know how to make burritos.My monster burrito had as many ingredients as a regular, And my wife's regular was the size of a monster. I really hope this was just an off-night for them because this has been a staple for me for years.
Protip: when its slow, opt for pickup on their app or online. The proteins will be made fresh in the back vs the front where the proteins are sitting out until empty/low.
Delicious order through Doordash. Did have to heat up yet super good. Bummer they did not give the side sauces up to 9 offered.
