We went around 7:00pm on a Monday (it was Father's day weekend and juneteenth). We had a party of 4. They were pretty busy when we arrived and we waited about 15 to 20 min for a table. The staff was great and very polite. The food was great, aswell as the mixed drinks (strong). The staff sang happy birthday to the table behind us. They will get the entire resturants attention before they sing. I definitely recommend.- Handicap accessible- good mixed drinks- free chips and salsa with free refills- free refills on fountain drinks- full bar- 5 to 10 Tv's/sports
This place gets super crowded, but they are able to handle it despite the "shortage of staff" posted on the door. The dining room is immense with the biggest bar seating area in Cedar Park. We love to sit at the bar because it feels like you have service right away, and you do. As soon as you sit down, you are greeted, given chips and salsa, drink order is taken and you have time to peruse the 3-4 page menu...your wish is there. I love all of the options...Today I had the Sautéed Shrimp with Zucchini Noodles...delicious!
Really good food here really loved the brisket queso… started off with a few 32oz beers then moved on to the brisket queso then I ordered the Pescado al Mojo de Ajo it was atilapia fish meal served with vegetables and rice and the garlic sauce just out everything together for me really enjoyed myself with my family here will return and highly recommend if your in Austin
The service started pretty bad at first but the GM stepped in and served us herself and she was wonderful!!!! We got 4 orders of the brisket queso and I'm telling you, you do NOT want to miss out on this !!!! The cocktails are pretty stiff and a fair price. For.my entree I ordered the fried ground beef chimichanga with chilli sauce and it was phenomenal! I usually go for the chicken when getting chimichangas but I'm glad I made this choice because the chilli sauce is SO good!!! My bf got the fish dinner which was prepared perfectly and our friend got the taco salad that she also enjoyed. I can not say enough about the brisket queso!! The brisket is juicy but dry enough to go atop the cheese dip and if you're lucky enough to find a piece w just a little bit of fat it melts like butter along w that cheese and its heaven!!!! The charro beans are so good w added bacon pieces for flavor. We will def return here when in town again. I will travel for the brisket queso dip !!!!
Peak hour 40 minute wait so two seats came open at the bar. Everyone at the bar works together we got chips and salsa, greetings, menus and drinks from 4 different people. Our order came out quickly and as always very good. First time at the bar they are rocking it!!Highly recommend the bar. Great friendly service. They are all doing several things at once and working together very well. It was amazing to watch. If you need anything just look up make eye contact and boom at your service. I usually ask for a military discount but I just couldn’t this time. They do honor veterans. Awesome!!
The only thing the matter about this place was they didn't have mango mojitos! The entertainment was super and the waitstaff great. But the food was excellent. Go there for the food !
Use to be a great place to eat and reasonably priced. Now it has poor service and overly priced food. ?? As well as loud music to where you can’t even hear the server or the people you’re sitting with. Also takes them at least 5-10mins to bring drinks to the table. Waited over 30min for a bar drink while looking at it at the bar while it watered down
They don't take reservations so we waited an hour for a table for 9. Lots of open tables but evidently they're having trouble finding people who want to work. We enjoyed a Margarita in the bar area while we waited. We were seated on time and were greeted with chips and dos salsas. There was a lady singing in the main dining room and she really had the pipes. Talented! We ordered dinner, talked, laughed and enjoyed the singing. Food was brought out together, all hot and delicious. Portions are plentiful and priced reasonably. Every staff member we saw were really hustling. They even came out and sang to the Birthday Girl! Thanks Dos Salsas!
When someone walks in mad as can be from another restaurant, it is easy to upset them more or make them very happy. Service and patience was top notch as I stared at the menu I have never seen. Server made an excellent recommendation. Which I got. I have not even tried the food yet, but the service alone would bring me back.
I'm not even sure how many different menu items I've had at this point, definitely more than a dozen. I have yet to have a dish that isn't delicious. This has easily become my favorite Mexican restaurant in the Austin area.I visit fairly regular, at least once a week & I guess I've been labeled a "regular" considering the fact my beverage order is known before I ask for it. Absolutely love the food, the staff & the atmosphere! Oh yea & the red salsa needs to come with a straw! Can't recommend this place enough, at least the CP location. Best Tex-Mex I've had since moving to Texas (and there's alot of places I'm comparing them to), hands down my favorite Mexican in Austin.
