This location used to be our go to spot when we wanted a relaxed spot to grab some good food, cheap drinks, and friendly atmosphere. But the last time and this most recent trip was weird. Tonight when we went to catch some NBA playoffs the vibe felt off. The whole crew was different I didn't recognize anybody. The only waiter there had a staring problem and so did what I think was the shift manager or whatever. They pointed at us and when we said something about it to them they disappeared in the back and still kept on blantently staring at us. Don't think we gonna come back any time soon. We can find a better atmosphere with better food and drinks literally anywhere else.
I’ve never seen a crew so uninterested to be at work in my life. When the two of us arrived on a Saturday night, the host almost seemed mad that we came in. Barely spoke up loud enough for us to hear and then he just gave us a little attitude. We sit down and realize there’s only one server in the whole place. He comes over, doesn’t tell us his name and just says “you ready to order” even though he hadn’t even asked for drinks or anything. Our appetizer arrives, we order our food and then 45 minutes later we don’t hear anything. Server comes by and asks what we ordered so he can check, and then comes back to say they didn’t have what I ordered. I said to just forget our meals and give me the check because the lack of competence overall. He just laid the check down and left, no goodbye or anything. Terrible customer service, terrible attitude, subpar experience. At least one smile would be nice.
We came here around 10pm on a Friday! They took like 15 mins to take our order or ask what we wanted to drink, Then we ordered wings for appetizer and took literally like 30 mins to come out and my drink havent been refilled yet since we got here and keep in mind it‘s empty. Not busy at all. We still dont get our food yet neither and we ordered when they took our appetizer order. It‘S 11:45 now
Save your money16$ for 3 itty bitty tenders that are supposed to be glazed over 4 cheese macaroni.barely any sauce and lol half a tender is glazed .20$ for a rack of ribs with barely a handful of fries.ok it's a little busy so I getit took 11mins to ask what I'd like to drink.then the waiter never brought out our utensils until we had to ask the manager.and also had to ask for straws because he never gave those either. waiteewas so nonchalant. I decided not to even eat the food after he took it off the tab because I didn't need a free meal I left the food there paid for my husband's meal and just decided to go elsewhere
This nationwide chain is known for low-cost food with generous portions. This one is no different. The place is well maintained and the staff are friendly. On this trip the wife was looking for french onion soup done the right way with melted cheese covering the top. She wasn't disappointed.
Overall food was good. 4 of us are off the 25 for 2 menu. We liked the broccoli chicken Alfredo and the fiesta chicken. The burger and bourbon street shrimp and chicken were ok. Mozzarella sticks were good, onion rings were hot, but nothing special.
Darrick was an amazing server and took perfect care of us. I NEVER review a server but this dude totally earned my respect and love for being great at his job and making our evening out a great one. Our food was also good and the restaurant was clean and inviting. We had cheeze sticks for appetizer, burger, grilled chicken/shrimp, and added two deserts to go. I added the desert just because the server was so amazing. Really, you should ask for him if he is working he does a great job. Also a shout out to the folks in the kitchen, you did a great job and we enjoyed the food you made us. We thank all of you for the work you do. YOU ARE APPRECIATED!
Well the lunch cheese burger was pretty good but the French fries weren't fresh. They were hard and barely warm. We got there around 3:30ish so it would make sense to serve new fries and not lunch leftovers, but what do I know.....
Walked in to every single table, and bar, being dirty. There were about 4 tables where people were sitting, and there was a 1 hour wait. They are obviously short staffed, but may want to consider a wait list online or something along those lines. This was our second attempt at an Applebee's in the past month, with the same outcome.
