First time back since it it changed from rock and roll sushi to 1850. Same atmosphere and good music. Really like the new menu and will definitely be going back more to try more of the menu items. Highly recommend this place!
Stopped in with my daughter to give the new place a try and were extremely satisfied with the service but let me tell you the burger was amazing! We both devoured our burgers!P.S. love the 80’s music! Made for a perfect mommy daughter date after a tough weekend.
Fairly new but a nice spot to grab a cold one and watch games. Also love that it’s dogs friendly:)
I am a former server and bartender of 15+ years. I hate to criticize service at a restaurant because I've been there, done that. However, tonight was really bad. We arrived at around 7:40 with a party of 3. A server came to the host stand and asked if we had reservations. We did not, but were able to be seated right away at a table for about 6 people. I told her it was not necessary to give us a big table, but she said it was no problem and they weren't expecting any big parties. She gave us QR codes for menus, and took our drink order. We ordered a large hot sake and a lemonade. The hot sake took at least 20 minutes to come out. We never got the lemonade. We continued to wait 25+ minutes with no appetizer and no entrées being delivered. We noticed our server chatting with a table behind us. I turned around and made eye contact. She never came to check on us or tell us what was taking so long. We were also out of sake by that point and were never offered a refill. The straw that broke the camel's back when my husband turned around and saw the sushi chefs taking shots with the bar customers. Why were they drinking when customers hadn't been served?! We left $16 on the table to cover the sake and left after that. We will never go back.
We were really pleased with the gracious accommodation, the flavorful food, and the exceptional service. I made and had to push back the reservation and they worked with us to get everyone seated and then didn’t rush us even though we stayed late. Thank you for such a welcoming space for us to gather with friends.
My brother and I went to Rock and Roll last night to have dinner. We arrived around 7:45. We were seated instantly when we arrived which was nice. The waitress came and took our drink order then food order shortly there after. We ordered pork belly as a starter then we each ordered a roll. The pork belly came out in a reasonable time (roughly 10-15 min) which was decent. Roughly 20-30 minutes later, the 1 roll my brother ordered arrived. Thankfully, my brother and I were planning on sharing the 2 rolls we got so we shared that first roll. However, the second roll never arrived. We had waited another 20-30 minutes and told we waitress we never got the second roll. She said they “were working on it” but it never came. She ended up just giving us the bill and tried to charge for the roll which we asked her to revise. When we told her we never got the second roll, she offered nothing to us. Didn’t even offer to bring said roll out. We ended up having to go get food elsewhere as we were still hungry. We will never be back here.
Went in on a not too busy Friday night. Service was incredibly slow while we watched everyone else around us get their rolls and we together only ordered 4. Had to ask for our server to even get the check then took forever to get that. Atmosphere wasn’t really worth the price and not that much in variety of rolls. My roll was okay but my husband only liked 1 of his 3.
I had the most fabulous time for my bday. The manager waiting on us and was simply divine. Can’t wait to get back. Happy 58 to me.
This place is really good when it's operating well. Unfortunately, slow service and poor timing has resulted in too many cold bowls of miso and warm sushi rolls. With food this expensive, it has to arrive at the table at the proper temps. This has been the case the last 2 times we've visited. Hopefully this improves. A server should be available more than 2x in an hour long meal.
even with a limited menu, everything was delicious and came out quick. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. We will definitely return.
