My wife and I have turned this into one of our usual post-church lunch spots simply due to two of the staffers. The food itself is good, but you expect good, not great or wow, with a chain like Razzoo's. I love the Cajun Fondue with it's gooey, cheesy, spicy flavors, and we both love the oysters. The etoufee and jambalaya are both good warm dishes that you feel in all the right ways. The two downsides from a food perspective are that the portions (and therefore costs) are huge and then (at no fault of their own) the gumbo recipe just doesn't compare to my mom's.
Although it took 35 mins to be seated, we had excellent service by Malik. Awesome job Malik on being attentive and listening. Your smile lights up the room and don't allow anyone to take that away. I ordered the stuffed shrimp and it was okay, but not worth the money. The rice was undercooked on All entres, even the appetizers, but although the food and and wait mediocre, MALIK did an awesome job all while training Lucky who was also doing a good job. Thanks for great service Malik, keep it up!:-)
I ordered a swampwater and it was just that. All the alcohol in the bottom and straight water on top. plus I waited on it. I received my drink after I received my food. The waiter never came back to check on me until the attendant watching the floor noticed something was wrong.
Fun atmosphere ? friendly service.
I am busy and almost always order take out. The food is freshly prepared, tasty and filling. My experiences have always been positive thus far. Staff is attentive and friendly. Oh yeah the food never disappoints
The food is always hot, fresh and delicious ?. Awesome service with a upbeat attitude and friendly service.
For our holiday girls night out we chose Razoo’s in Cedar Hill. Great choice by the way. It was a Monday evening with no wait for a table. We loved the fact that the restaurant wasn’t overly crowded. The location worked well for everyone in attendance. Upon arrival, one of the three hostesses pointed out our table. Our server Malik was awesome, accommodating and attentive but not overbearing. The side cesar salads ordered took a while to reach our table but they were worth the wait. A few of our guests selected the Hurricane Salmon which was a hit! I requested the removal of spicy hurricane glaze and it was done. Even without the glaze, the Salmon was delicious and cooked to perfection. The overcooked green beans smothered in gravy were the only reason my plate wasn’t cleaned.. This along with the slow delivery of the side salads and the greeting upon arrival all could have been better. Overall… Location ✅ Food ✅ Food Presentation ✅ Atmosphere ✅ Service ✅ ✅
Been here before quite a few times. Sat at the bar. Drinks were good/stiff! Bar tender was nice. Food was good. Still hot when it arrived. Will go back! And the server Shay was amazing!
Ordered to go. 2 Tricky Fish with a side of cajun etoufee'. Took 15 minutes. The food was PERFECTLY MADE! my favorite places to eat ?
The service is slow. From being seated to getting food. Most of the staff is teenagers and they have attitudes and don’t want to help. The patio is always closed for some reason. We’re in a pandemic but they will stuff the inside and refuse to open the patio. Staff also don’t wear mask. I waited 1.5 hours for my food and it was wrong.
