My wife, Chandra, and I were hosting a family reunion. We hired Phat Girlz to cater the food for 50 people. It turned out that we had over 60 people, there was enough food for everyone, and no morsel of food was leftover. We ordered chopped beef, pork ribs, mixed chicken, links, green beans, potato salad, and baked beans. We also had the scrumptious peach cobbler. Since it was a Saturday, one of their busiest days, we had to make arrangements to pickup the food. Everything was wrapped & prepared great for transport. My family loved the food. Wow....I didn't know about this hidden gem in Cedar Hill. We had the baked potatoes and they were excellent. Great customer service. We will return for sure:)

BEST BAKED POTATOES EVER! The actual potato is fluffy and light. They flatten it out so you don't have to fight to spread out all of the toppings. It is so good and so memorable. The bbq sauce is sweet.. so when you get this, you might want the sauce on the side and add pickles and jalapeños. This is literally the best! So good!
Love Phat Girlz BBQ. The ladies are always kind there. Chubby Girl potato with rib tips, brisket and links was absolutely perfect!!! And the peach Cobbler is about to make me go back and get more if they aren't out. It's sooooo good!!!! I have also tried the smoked chicken salad before. They were sold out today when I got there unfortunately. The smokiness takes the chicken salad up levels! Last but not least the strawberry lemonade is very refreshing! ?

PUT IN MY ORDER AND ASKED FOR 3LINK SANDWICHES (PHAT GIRLS) THE LADY (OWNER) CHARGED ME FOR THE BIGGER AMNT BUT FAILED TO TELL ME THAT LINK SANDWICHES AND BIG GIRL SANDWICHES ARE DIFF!! WHEN I FINALLY CHECKED MY ORDER IT WAS NOT WHAT I ASKED FOR AND WENT BACK UP THERE AND ASKED COULD THEY FIXED IT, THE OWNER WAS COMPLETELY UNREASONABLE!! WHEN A CUST NEAR BY ASKED WHAT HAPPENED BECAUSE HE WAS TURNED AWAY BY WHAT WAS GOING ON THEY ALL CAME OUT FROM THE ESTABLISHMENT LIKE THEY WAS GOING TO FIGHT ME AND MY FAMILY!! DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE HOW THEY HANDLED THIS WAS HORRIBLE AND UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!
This is the best BBQ place in Dallas HANDS DOWN!!!!! The food is always fresh!!! The staff is super friendly!!! I can’t get enough of this place the ribs fall off the bone, the baked potatoes are big and they are not stingy with the toppings, that Mac n cheese is everything and if you have a sweet tooth that peach cobbler will hit the spot every time!!
My honest opinion is their food is delicious and well season however, the consistency of hours is what is so nerve-wracking. You made two different attemps to use them as dinner option and catering and you check the hours and they were nit open or they change the open hour times.I called last week to see if the were open on 04/22/22 and the young lady said they were. Called today 04/22/22 and guess what closed.I am not saying not to try their food but, be in the parking lot when you place your order or you may waste gas.
The food is great! We drive 25 minutes to patronize and support this place and have learned to get there early because they are so good that they run out the favorites fast. The customer service has always been spectacular. I just get a little anxious when the infamous potato is not available. Thanks for a fabulous and consistent meal Phat Girlz!
