Don't walk. RUN to Mija BBQThe pork belly burnt ends are like butter! My husband and I love good BBQ.. the burnt ends are top notch... and the birria tacos are the best I've ever had. We don't even like beer... but we tried it at Ash & Ember.. and it was so good! We had several samples and bought a light beer... very good!.. we talked about that food all weekend and all week til they opened again!
Really good bbq place, great food, only bring drinks if you’re not fan of Beer.
We stopped for a quick bite. The place was lively but not overly crowded. Our order was simple bc I wanted to get in and out. It took about 55 minutes to get my food. The elote was good but tepid at best. The consommé with the birtia tacos was room temperature. The beans were good and the only thing piping hot. And for some reason other people behind us were getting their food faster.
The food is SO good! The elote is addicting. I’ve been craving it since Christmas. The meat and tacos are delicious too. And the pies are my faves! My husband loved his food too and the snickerdoodles are yum! We had a great date night!
I really enjoyed the jalapeno cheese sausage, brisket, and charro beans. I'll be back!

Most barbecue places cut the fat cap off when you ask for lean brisket This place leaves it on and charges you $28 per pound which is half fat. I called and voiced my concern. They said that’s the way they do it. I will not pay top dollar for fat. I will not return.
Grilled cheese brisket sandwich & a pulled pork sandwich. Highest level of craft applied here. My friend claims to die for flavors. Come see.
This was my first time hearing about and trying this BBQ company. I purchased the $50 voucher for $39 off Groupon which was well over enough to feed two people. Pictured below is the BBQ Plate: Sausage, brisket, pork belly burnt ends, potato salad, and charro beans. The other picture is the TEX-MEX BIRRA TACO PLATE with two sides of elotes. Yummy good eats, friendly staff, and good atmosphere. 5/5
Ash Salsa alone is worth the trip to this little Brewery! DELICIOUS BEEF TACOS! Sides are great as well as house-made desserts! Fun atmosphere! We are coming again!!
