Barbeque its finest, don't let the tiny store footprint discourage you. I had the ribs and sliced brisket, coleslaw, and green beans. The meat was tender, juicy and flavorful! Coleslaw is a bit rough, very course IMO. Generous portions for the price, def worth a drive to Cedar Hill, right off the highway.

Definitely a hidden gem in Cedar Hill. Very moist brisket with great bark. Average sausage, but not in a disappointing way. Nice tangy sauce available in hot variety. Sides are not an afterthought. Potato salad and cole slaw were delicious. I rarely leave reviews, that should tell you something.

If you've never been here before order the beans yall! They put their delicious brisket in with them and I can't find the words to describe how friggin delicious they are, and basically everything here is that good! The only complaint I have is they are maskholes if you want to eat inside so I usually just go through the drive thru. Be glad when everyone in Dallas County stops freaking out about Covid.

This place has a high rating for a reason. It's one of the best. Super friendly and they know what they are doing. Large portions and so good you will want more. They aren't trying to be trendy, they are trying to be consistently great. In my opinion they are succeeding at it.

I am very particular about my brisket and sausage and these were AMAZING! I dont particularly like jalapeno sausage, but i could not stop eating theirs. Brisket was so tender it was falling apart. Their sauce is delicious too. Not too much pepper, not too spicy. Highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning.

Delicious! The mild sauce is perfect, not hot, not too peppery. The meat was falling apart it was so tender and the bread was buttery and crispy. The jalapeno cheese sausage was super tasty and had that crispy outer casing I love. Highly recommend.

First time there, and it definitely won't be my last. The smoked beef was fabulous! So tasty! They gave us a good portion to make 4 sandwiches. We ordered $20 worth. The sauce was very good. They have hot and mild. You can order with fat or without, which is a plus for me. There's much more on the menu. Check them out! This place will be featured on the Drew Barrymore show April 5th 2p. They were very friendly there.

Was excited to try a new BBQ place, but when I went to go inside I was greeted by police eating ribs out front, they informed me the restaurant was closed. I thought on here it says they are open on Thursdays at 2:00, but I guess not. I would recommend calling before going to make sure they are really open!

I don't remember where I heard of Harris or how it got on the "to try" list but we headed there on Saturday. You almost have to be looking for it or you'll miss it. Just off of 67 at Hickerson St. We were the only folks that were eating there but they had some others come in to pick up to-go orders or using the drive-thru. Two very nice ladies working there that made us feel at home. On the outside there's a sign saying that Harris is in the Texas Monthly Top 50. I believe they made the Top 50 in 2017 but not sure if they have since then. Regardless, the barbecue was good. I had the Three Meat Meal with Brisket, Smoked Sausage and Ribs. It came with two sides and I had the Cole Slaw and the Green Beans. My buddy had the Two Meat with the Smoked Sausage, Brisket and Cole Slaw and Pinto Beans on the side. We both had sweet tea. We were asked if we wanted moist or lean brisket and we both chose moist. It was good with a nice smoke ring, tender but still with some body to it. We both thought the smoked sausage was excellent as well. I actually got a pound of sausage to take home for my dad and he thought it was excellent. I took him a half pound of their cheddar and jalapeno sausage as well but he thought, and I agreed, that the smoked sausage was better. My buddy and I liked the cole slaw (creamy as opposed to vinegarly) and he commented on how good the pinto beans were. I could see chunks of meat in it and it looked good! The only thing that wasn't especially good were the green beans. Seemed to be right out of a can with no seasoning whatsoever. Wished I'd gotten the pinto beans! We both enjoyed the sweet tea with the free refills. Sodas I believe were out of a can or bottle with no refills. Definitely a place worth trying if you're in the area.

I had never heard of this place a week before I went but saw an article in the Dallas Observer mention it and thought I'd try it. I tried the brisket, pork ribs and sausage and all of it was good. The sauce was especially good. Tender and moist meat. Well smoked. I'd definitely go back.
